What Promptchan is

Promptchan is an AI image, video and companion-chat platform, and it runs an affiliate program for adult traffic that is administered through Aiffiliate.io. Partners sign up on that site, share their referral links, and are paid a share of what the people they refer spend on subscriptions and on Gems, the credits that generations use. The program article describes itself as intended for individuals aged 18 or older, and it says the program is free to join with zero upfront costs.

Promptchan is not a marketplace for real performers. Its DMCA policy states that the platform prohibits the creation of images featuring real individuals, and the product is built around generated characters. Earning here means promoting the product, not appearing in it.

How earning works here

The program's own article spells out how the payout is structured. Every referral pays the partner across the referred user's first five payments. The first payment earns one rate, and the next four earn a lower one. Both subscription payments and Gem purchases count, which the article puts as one converted user being worth five commissions, not one. A partner is therefore paid on a short window of a user's spending, not for life, and the window is counted in payments, not in days.

Joining takes place off the Promptchan site. The article's steps are to sign up at Aiffiliate.io and join the AI porn affiliate program there, get a custom link for Promptchan, and share it wherever the partner's audience is. It names websites, social media, email and paid ads as supported channels, so a partner does not need a site of their own. It also says the Aiffiliate team supplies resources, marketing assets and affiliate support, and that Promptchan can be promoted only through Aiffiliate.io. The article describes that network as having over 6,000 affiliates, which is its own figure.

The article goes further than most program pages in suggesting how to promote. It grades three methods by difficulty: posting a generated image on art sites, Reddit communities or forums with the link; making a short video about the product for video platforms, using assets from a provided collection, with the link in the description; and writing blog posts or forum contributions about the product. Each of those is a link-sharing method open to a creator with an audience and no ad budget.

What a referral pays

Promptchan sells subscriptions on three monthly plans, named Plus, Premium and Pro. The article walks through what a single referral earns at standard list prices for each plan, and it also notes that heavy users buy Gems on top of a plan. Those Gem packs count as payments too. Since each payment inside the window earns a commission, a user who buys a Gem pack after subscribing can fill the window faster. One qualifier in the article deserves attention: commission is always a percentage of what the referral actually pays, so trial prices, promotions and the discounted Gem rate that subscribers get pay out proportionally less on the payments they apply to. The article's lines about affiliates reporting six-figure earnings and top affiliates earning hundreds daily are marketing claims with no supporting data beside them.

Where the traffic lands

A referred visitor reaches a site that offers AI image generation in realistic and anime styles, image-to-video, a Tweak editor for changing outfit, setting or lighting on a generated character, and a Discover area of AI companions. Companions can be male or female and realistic or anime in style. Users can chat, roleplay, request scene photos or videos from a companion, and start voice calls from the chat header. The home page describes a free tier with Gems and starter chat messages, and says paid plans add Gems, styles and quality options. AI video requires the Pro plan and uses Gems.

For a partner who runs a promotional channel, a few details matter. Creations are visible in a community Explore feed, with the home page claiming over 20 million images and videos made by users, which is the site's own number. Users can keep creations private. Quality is a separate control that costs more Gems as it climbs, with higher tiers included in higher plans. There is also an API where a user generates a key in settings, tops up Gems and calls an endpoint, with every image generation spending Gems and higher quality settings costing more. That API is a product feature for users and developers, not part of the affiliate program.

Payment methods on the product side

The terms of service say some subscriptions renew on a recurring basis, while crypto payments and G2A operate on a fixed-period subscription. Recurring methods are labeled on the checkout page. Since the commission window is counted in payments, a user on a fixed-period method produces a new commissionable payment only by buying again.

Money and rules

The payout model is a revenue share limited to a referral's first five payments, paid out monthly via Wise, bank transfer or crypto. As of October 2026 the article states the rates as 60% of the first payment and 50% of the next four. It lists the plans at standard prices from $14.99 a month for Plus to $33.99 a month for Pro, and prints its own total for a single referral who makes all five payments: $38.97 on Plus and $88.37 on Pro. Gem packs are listed as running from $4.99 up to $299.99, and the article notes that one large Gem purchase can pay more than a month of Pro.

Promptchan's article does not publish a payout minimum or a cookie period; tracking and reporting sit on Aiffiliate.io. The program article carries a disclaimer that it covers adult content and asks readers to confirm their age and accept responsibility for accessing and sharing it.

Product-level rules also apply to promotion. The content moderation policy covers image generation, video generation, the chatbot and the community feed, and the DMCA policy sets out how copyright complaints and repeat infringers are handled, including termination of repeat infringers' accounts. A partner whose creatives imply real individuals would be working against those policies.

Who it suits and who it does not

Promptchan suits an affiliate who has adult, AI-curious or anime-leaning traffic and wants a payout tied to a user's early spending. The five-payment window pays quickly when a visitor converts to a paid plan and buys Gems, and the monthly payout can be taken in crypto or by Wise, which helps partners outside card-friendly banking.

The caveat is the window itself. This is not a lifetime share, so a partner whose audience stays for years earns only on the first five payments. A partner who wants an ongoing share of every renewal should compare it against programs that pay for the life of the customer. Another is that the account, the links and the payouts all live on a third-party network instead of on Promptchan itself.

A partner can also use the product facts honestly in a pitch. New accounts get free Gems and starter chat messages, voice calls and companions in both realistic and anime styles are part of the offer, and users can keep their creations private. The home page states each of these points.

It does not suit a creator looking for tips or fan subscriptions, because no performer income is described. It also does not suit traffic that cannot be shown to be adult.
