What This Is

Open Office Freelancing is a freelance and virtual assistant agency, not an adult-only business, and one of its job pages recruits OnlyFans chatters. Its home page says "we have been your trusted partner since 2012, connecting outstanding freelancers with premier opportunities," and that it has "rendered more than 10,000 hours and have served more than 50 clients." The chatter page advertises a role titled "Experienced OnlyFans Chatter (Must Have US/AU Apple Device)": remote and worldwide, on a freelance contract, part-time or full-time, with compensation described as "Competitive (Based on experience and performance)." The site is in English, and an application consists of a resume, an Upwork profile link and a short video.

The agency's FAQ lists its wider business as virtual assistants, content creation, graphic design, web development and marketing, and the About page describes "bridging the gap between businesses and skilled virtual assistants." Chat work for OnlyFans creators is one route inside that general agency, and it is pitched at people who have done the job before.

How Earning Works

The chatter post is explicit that this "is not an entry-level position." The agency wants someone with "proven experience managing OnlyFans chats", who understands how to build relationships and "can drive subscriptions and PPV sales through genuine, engaging conversations."

The responsibilities list describes the work in detail:

  • Engaging with subscribers and potential fans through direct messages on OnlyFans.
  • Keeping a flirtatious, engaging and professional tone that matches the creator's brand and voice.
  • Creating and managing scripts, conversation flows and upsell tactics.
  • Driving subscriber retention and maximizing tips, PPV purchases and custom content requests.
  • Responding promptly and keeping response-time metrics high.
  • Keeping confidentiality and discretion at all times.
  • Reporting regularly on message performance, conversion rates and fan interactions.
  • Working with the content and management team to stay current on new content drops and promotions.

The hardware requirement is the unusual part. The ideal candidate has a US or Australian Apple laptop or desktop, which the post says is required for access to and operation within the platform and for "region-specific app features," and the requirements list repeats that it is "non-negotiable." Applicants are asked to confirm that access when they apply.

The other requirements are proven experience as an OnlyFans chatter or in a similar adult messaging role, native-level English in speech and writing, the ability to mirror the creator's voice and persona, being comfortable working with adult content, organization and self-motivation, discretion with sensitive material, and availability for flexible shifts that can include weekends and evenings. Preferred extras are a background in sales, customer engagement or social media marketing, knowledge of OnlyFans metrics and best practices, and familiarity with Telegram, Trello or similar team tools.

In return, the post promises a supportive and professional management team, "Consistent work with long-term potential," "Competitive pay and bonus opportunities based on performance," and the flexibility to work from anywhere. Those are the agency's own selling points.

Applying runs through a form on the same page. It asks for full name, phone, email and the position applied for, plus a required Upwork profile link and a required Loom video introduction of 1-2 minutes, which the form says should be recorded as if it goes straight to the future client, with no mention of the agency. A resume or CV can be attached, and the post also asks for a brief cover letter on OnlyFans or related experience.

Above the post, the agency prints its ten "Golden Rules for Sending a Standout Job Application." They cover reading the job description thoroughly, customizing every application, and following instructions exactly; the page gives examples such as including a keyword or sending a video, and says "Ignoring instructions is a red flag for us." Applicants are told to highlight relevant experience, communicate clearly, respect deadlines, close with a confident call to action and keep it concise. One rule stands out: "Do not submit applications using your phone." The page says mobile submissions "often appear unformatted, rushed, or unprofessional" and asks applicants to "always use a computer," noting that the hiring team receives "volumes of applications" and scans them quickly.

The FAQ for freelancers sets out how the wider network runs. A freelancer applies through the Careers page with a portfolio and qualifications, and the agency gets in touch when it finds a match. "As a freelancer, you have the flexibility to accept or decline projects based on your availability and interests. You're not obligated to take on projects that don't align with your skills or schedule." The agency says it provides project management support and facilitates communication between freelancer and client, and steps in if issues come up during a project.

Money and Rules

The FAQ answer on pay reads: "Compensation varies depending on the client, project, your skills, and the terms you agree upon with the client. We ensure that you are paid fairly for your work." The chatter post adds that compensation is based on experience and performance, with performance bonuses. The site does not publish a rate or percentage for the chatter role.

The company policy page, effective January 2023, sets out the rules for freelancers:

  • Payment and invoicing: "Payment terms will be outlined in the project-specific contract. Freelancers will submit invoices according to these terms."
  • Workspace and equipment: freelancers set up their own quiet workspace and provide their own computer, internet access and software.
  • Hours: flexible, but work must meet agreed project timelines, with regular availability during agreed hours.
  • Confidentiality: freelancers "must sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA)" and use "secure, password-protected tools and software as necessary."
  • Professionalism: a "professional and respectful demeanor" with clients, team members and partners; conflicts go first to the project manager, then to a designated contact person.
  • Termination: "Either party may terminate the engagement by providing written notice as specified in the contract."
  • Compliance: freelancers are "responsible for ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to their freelance work," and the FAQ adds that freelancers manage their own taxes and legal compliance.

One inconsistency is worth knowing. The Careers page says "We are currently not hiring! Stay tuned for open roles," while the chatter page says the agency is "currently seeking" an experienced chatter and carries a live application form.

Who It Suits and Who It Does Not

This suits an experienced OnlyFans chatter who already writes scripts and upsell flows, reports on conversion, and owns or can use an Apple computer registered in the United States or Australia. It fits someone comfortable freelancing through Upwork, invoicing against a contract and recording a short video pitch, and who wants the option of part-time or full-time work from anywhere.

It does not suit a beginner: the post rules out entry-level applicants and asks for proven adult messaging experience. Anyone without a US or AU Apple device is excluded outright. A chatter who wants a published rate will find pay described only as competitive and performance-based, settled in the project contract, and the agency's general freelance pages, written mostly for business clients, say little more about the OnlyFans work than the job post does.
