What OhMiBod is

OhMiBod is a sex tech brand that sells app-connected and music-reactive vibrators and runs an affiliate program for people who refer customers to its store. The program is managed through the ShareASale affiliate network, where the page says to "Sign up for a free Affiliate account". It pays a percentage of each referred sale, paid monthly through ShareASale by direct deposit or paper check, with a 60-day tracking cookie. It pays affiliates, not performers. The official store is Lovelifetoys.com, which is where referred shoppers buy.

The company describes itself on the program page as "a female-owned and operated company" and as an innovator in sex tech since 2006. The site's terms name the operator as Suki LLC, doing business as OhMiBod.com, and put the terms under the laws of the state of New Hampshire.

How earning works here

The page defines the model plainly: "An affiliate program allows you to make money by referring customers to our web site." Links go on "your web site, blog, or social media". Every link carries a unique identifier, so that when a visitor arrives through the affiliate's site or social media and later buys, the company knows whom to credit. A purchase must follow the referral, and the page says "Every month you receive a percentage of the sales you referred to our site."

Joining takes two approvals, and the page walks through both. First the applicant creates a ShareASale account: a username and password, a website or the profile URL of a social media account, a few yes or no questions about how they will promote merchants, an email address, contact details and details for commission payments, then a confirmation link sent by email. The page notes that an applicant using a free email account, without a domain of their own, can wait up to 3 business days for ShareASale's approval. Second, the affiliate finds OhMiBod under "Merchants" in ShareASale and chooses "Join Program". The company says "We will review your site and approve/decline you for the program within 3 business days." A social media profile is accepted in place of a website at sign-up, so an affiliate without a site can apply.

Once approved, the affiliate opens the ShareASale dashboard, clicks "Get Links", picks a type of link or banner and pastes the code into a site, blog or social post. The page describes ShareASale as the platform that gives affiliates 24/7 access to creative materials, monthly commission payments, affiliate marketing tips and tech support. Questions go to a dedicated affiliates email address at the company.

On top of the standard commission the page lists two perks: "Exclusive offers and promotions for our Affiliate Partners", and product samples for select partners. Coupon sites are put on a separate, lower rate.

What the affiliate promotes is distinctive, and the company's pages explain it in its own words. It describes itself as "the inventors of the original Music Vibrator". The Club Vibe is called one of its best-selling products, a panty vibe that reacts to dance music or a partner's voice. It says it introduced an app-connected kegel product in its sexual health category, and that the product won Best of Show at CES. The about page cites a win in the "Digital Health and Fitness Product" category of the 2016 Best of CES Awards, a Red Dot Award for the Lovelife vibrators in 2014, and describes the company as the trade show's first sex tech exhibitor in 2011. These are the company's claims.

Its tech-enabled toys connect through the OhMiBod Remote App, and the page says they can be controlled over the internet from anywhere in the world. The app also lets iOS users control vibrations through an Apple Music or Spotify Premium account. The about page says the company was the first to introduce a mobile app that controls vibrators remotely, and that the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled app lets partners connect to and control each other's products. The same page describes the Lovelife Rev as a lightweight massager designed for adults of all ages and abilities, and says Refinery29 put it on its 2019 list of "Most Innovative Sex Toys of The Decade".

The affiliate page also says Rolling Stone Magazine has referred to the company as "the OG of sex tech", and the homepage quotes press descriptions of the Lovelife Rev and the Esca2 wearable. On the buyer side, the page promises discreet shopping and free US shipping above an order minimum, and the homepage promotes a monthly paid offer built around discounts. Those are the selling points an affiliate's reader will see.

Money and rules

The payout model is a percentage of referred sales, and the payout rails are ShareASale's. The page states: "ShareASale pays you every month on the 20th. You have the option to get paid by direct deposit or have a paper check mailed to you. For example, you will get paid for May's sales by June 20th." Tracking uses a 60-day cookie.

In October 2026 the program page lists "20% commission on every sale referred" as the standard rate and says "Coupon sites will receive 10% commission".

The program page does not state a minimum payout threshold.

The store's terms set the conditions for the site an affiliate sends people to. A visitor confirms being at least 18 years old, and agrees not to pass information from the site to anyone under 18. The terms bar use of the company's logos or trademarks without written permission "or unless specifically stated on the website", which is the reason to take banners and links from the ShareASale dashboard instead of making them. The terms also reserve the company's right to remove or suspend access to its services at any time.

Who it suits and who it does not

OhMiBod suits an affiliate with an audience that is interested in tech-enabled products or music: a reviewer who covers app-controlled toys, a long-distance-couples blog, or an account focused on accessible design, given the Lovelife Rev. A 60-day cookie suits slower review and comparison content, where readers read several pieces before buying. Product samples for select partners may help a reviewer who wants first-hand experience.

It suits an affiliate who prefers an established network, since tracking, tools and monthly payments run through ShareASale and not through a custom portal, and one who can be paid by direct deposit or check. A creator who works from a social profile fits the sign-up as written.

It suits less well a coupon or deal site, which is put on the lower rate, or a creator or cam model looking to be paid for their own work, since no part of the page covers that. An affiliate who needs a wallet or crypto payout has no such option named on the page.

One caveat is that the product story depends on an app and a phone, so an audience that wants simple, non-connected products may convert less well. Another is the double approval: ShareASale first, then the brand, each of which the page says can take up to 3 business days.
