What iWantClips is

iWantClips is a clip store marketplace where creators sell individual videos, custom clips, calls, messages and store items to buyers who shop by category. Fanschart.com, a comparison site, says it has earned a decade-long reputation as a dependable home for femdom, findom and fetish creators. Herfans.com, another comparison site that runs its own competing creator platform, uses it as the baseline for customs and calls. Both are competitors' views. The payout rules below come from a payout policy article on the iWantEmpire help desk, which is the artist knowledge base for iWantClips.

It pays creators who run their own store, whom that article calls Store Operators and Artists and treats as independent contractors, not employees. US stores and international stores have separate payout paths. Semrush lists the domain at a worldwide rank of 8,637 and 6.64M visits, which gives a sense of buyer traffic without saying anything about what an individual store earns. Boleyn Models, a daily-pay network that lists iWantClips among its sites, describes customizable clip stores with a profile picture, banner, bio and categories.

How earning works here

The earning routes are separate products with separate rates. Herfans.com lists them in the order a seller meets them, and says its figures come from the iWantClips artist help center.

Clip and store sales are the core. Creators set their own prices, and the platform pays a revenue share on each sale. In October 2026 herfans.com gives that share as 60% on clips and store content, and fanschart.com agrees, calling the platform's cut far steeper than what subscription platforms charge. Pay-to-view messages, tips and tributes, and video calls are three further routes, each with a higher creator share than clips according to the herfans.com table, and video calls pay the most of the three.

Customs run through a service called iWantCustomClips. Herfans.com says the platform takes nothing from a custom clip because the buyer pays a convenience fee on top, so the creator receives 100% of the price, as read in October 2026. Fanschart.com repeats that figure and counts customs, calls and tips as the products on which iWantClips pays generously. Phone work runs through iWantPhone, and the same herfans.com page says the platform keeps a share of iWantPhone calls and charges a per-minute connection fee on top, so phone and sext work is the route with the most deductions.

Discovery is the weak spot in both competitor reviews. Fanschart.com calls discovery the weakest area of iWantClips and says a rival offers sitewide search, tag filters and trending pages. Herfans.com gives the other side: it says iWantClips has fetish buyers browsing by category, which it says no subscription platform can match. Buyers who review the site on worthepenny.com, a consumer review page, describe a lot of niche content that is hard to find elsewhere and a search they call hit or miss. A creator here sells to buyers who arrive with a category in mind.

Catalog housekeeping matters for sellers with a large back catalog. Herfans.com says items with no lifetime sales are archived after 12 months and permanently removed 14 days later, files included. Stores in their first year get 24 months. Items that have sold at least once stay up. The same page says closing a store with less than the payout minimum forfeits the balance.

Herfans.com also lists protections it credits to the platform: a free DMCA takedown service, and tools to block buyers by username, email, IP address, location or zip code. On chargebacks, it says in October 2026 that iWantClips covers up to $5,000 a month per artist, so losses above that level fall on the store.

Money and rules

The payout model is a revenue share per product, paid on a schedule the store chooses, and the faster schedules lower the share. The iWantEmpire payout article lists four frequencies: bi-monthly, monthly, daily for US stores only, and Request Pay for international stores only.

Bi-monthly payouts are initiated twice a month, for earnings periods of the 12th to the 26th and the 27th to the 11th. As of October 2026 the article lists a $50 minimum for bi-monthly and monthly payouts, with a higher minimum for international wire transfers through Express Pay, and no fee on either schedule. Bi-monthly payouts are sent for processing on the 12th and 27th, monthly payouts on the 5th, and both are reviewed within 2 business days and then arrive within 6 business days.

Speed has a price. The article says daily payouts and Request Pay each carry a 5% reduction in payout rev-share, a figure herfans.com and fanschart.com repeat, and in October 2026 it sets the daily minimum at $25. It says daily pay earnings are held for 1 week so funds can clear merchant accounts and be screened for fraud, and Request Pay earnings for 3 business days, and that large requests in a store's first month can be held longer. Daily pay can run automatically once the minimum is met or be requested manually. Switching between payout options carries no penalty, though the article warns that a day's earnings take the reduced split once a store moves to daily or request pay. Fanschart.com also says creators report payouts that can drag close to two weeks.

The payout rails differ by location. US artists can be paid by direct deposit through ACH, processed by a partner the article names as Pro Pay, by paper check or by Paxum, none of which carries a fee from iWantClips, though a voided check does. International artists can be paid by Paxum, by ACH to a US-based bank account, or by international wire through Express Pay. The article says wires carry processing fees, that a large wire is free once a month, and that the receiving bank may charge as well. It lists the currencies wires can be sent in, from the Australian dollar and the euro to the pound sterling, the Japanese yen and the rand. Payouts are not processed on US bank holidays.

On tax, the support article says nothing is withheld from payouts and a US store must complete a W9 form to open. A 1099-MISC is sent on or before January 31 from Gatsby Enterprises, Inc., and the article says the form also goes to the IRS for stores above a yearly earnings threshold.

On content rules, fanschart.com says iWantClips enforces strict, card-network-driven banned-words rules that have triggered sudden content removals.

Who it suits

iWantClips suits a fetish, femdom or findom seller who already has buyers and earns mostly from customs and calls. Herfans.com names it as hard to beat for customs and video calls, and fanschart.com says few platforms treat a seller of customs and calls better.

It suits a clip-only seller less. Both comparison sites say the share kept on clips is lower than on flat-rate subscription platforms, and herfans.com calls the clip rate the lowest on the network. With discovery rated weak by fanschart.com, that cut falls on every sale the seller drives themselves. The archive rule also works against a seller whose back catalog sells slowly.

The payout side has its own friction. Fast payouts lower the revenue share, the fee-free schedules pay twice a month or monthly, and daily pay is limited to US stores. International sellers use Paxum, a US bank account or a wire with its own fees and higher minimum. A US seller also completes a W9 form to open a store and receives a 1099-MISC each year.
