What AdultFriendFinder is

AdultFriendFinder is an adult dating and social network, and its partner page is the door to the FriendFinder Networks Affiliate Program, which pays affiliates who send it members. It pays affiliates for the traffic they send, not creators or models. The partner page loads in German, with a language menu that switches it to English, Spanish, French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Swedish and Chinese, and the member site it promotes is set up for many markets at once. Registration is not automatic: an applicant fills in a form, confirms by email and then goes through what the page calls the approval process for the partner program.

The program describes itself as offering "verschiedene Portfolios an online Dating, sozialem networking und Cams Seiten" (various portfolios of online dating, social networking and cam sites) and calls itself a leading, global affiliate program. That is the company's own description. The consumer site, in its own words, is the world's largest platform for dating and social discovery and the number 1 erotic dating site, and the about page says its mission since 1996 has been to help adults connect.

How earning works here

An affiliate earns by sending traffic that signs up on the network's sites. The partner page groups the brands an affiliate can promote under two tabs, Dating and Cams, and then lists them by tier. Under premium dating sites it names AdultFriendFinder.com and ALT.com. Under niche dating sites it names Passion.com, HeatedAffairs.com, SwapFinder.com, Hornywife.com, SexFinder.com, TSDates.com and XMatch.com. The pitch is that one sign-up covers the lot: register to promote one brand and get access to the whole network ("Registriere dich, um eine Marke zu bewerben und bekomme Zugang zu unserem gesamten Netzwerk").

The login screen repeats the point for existing partners. A returning affiliate who wants to promote other sites inside the network can do it with the original affiliate ID, and the page tells them to contact their affiliate manager for details. The same screen has fields for the manager's name, email address and phone number, so each partner account is tied to a named manager rather than a ticket queue. The affiliate ID is called a GPID, and the login accepts the GPID or the account's email address with a password. A forgotten GPID or password is recovered through an identity check that sends the GPID and a reset link by email, followed by a confirmation code.

The sign-up form is longer than most. It asks for first and last name, date of birth, company, a "Schecks zahlbar an" field (checks payable to), phone number, email address, the URL of the affiliate's website, an instant messenger and user name (the drop-down offers QQ, Skype, Hangouts, WhatsApp, Telegram and FB Messenger), and a full postal address with street, city, state or canton, postal code and country. The country drop-down starts with the USA and then runs alphabetically through a long list of countries. A separate date-of-birth prompt explains that for a company account the date of birth of the signing authority is wanted.

Submitting the form means accepting the affiliate terms, which the page says contain anti-spam and tax information; ticking the box and sending the form counts as an electronic signature under 15 USC 7001 et seq. A thank-you screen then asks the applicant to open the confirmation email and continue the approval process, and warns that the link expires within 7 days. The email can be sent again from the same screen. Questions about a registration go to the affiliate team mailbox named on the page, and the message is signed by the Medley Affiliate Team.

What an affiliate is sending people to matters for conversion, and the member site spells it out. AdultFriendFinder offers free registration for members, matching to find local connections, an instant messenger, live chat, a live models section, an erotic cam chat and a magazine and blog with articles on relationships and lifestyles. The mobile version promises live chats and video calls on a phone or tablet. The sign-up form takes men, women, couples of every combination, groups and trans members, with optional identity fields such as trans woman, trans man and non-binary, which gives an affiliate with trans or couples traffic a matching landing point, alongside the TSDates.com and SwapFinder.com brands on the partner page.

One member rule touches affiliates directly. The terms of use forbid members from posting unsolicited advertising, "affiliate marketing codes," "link referral code," or any other commercial solicitation in content on the site, so promoting a partner link from inside a member profile breaks the member terms.

Money and rules

The partner page states no commission percentage, payout amount, threshold or payment schedule, and its own footer says commission rates can change and are based on performance, with results that can vary ("Provisionsraten können Änderungen unterliegen und basieren auf Leistung. Ergebnisse können schwanken."). The only payment detail on the form is the checks-payable-to field. A footnote on the page refers to a total amount paid out since 1996, though the figure it belongs to is not printed.

The rules the pages do state:

  • Applicants give a date of birth, and a company account gives the date of birth of its signing authority.
  • The affiliate terms, with their anti-spam and tax sections, are accepted by checkbox as an electronic signature.
  • The confirmation link in the registration email expires within 7 days, and approval follows.
  • The footer disclaimer says every member and person shown on the site has declared by contract to be at least 18 years old, and the member sign-up line repeats the 18+ confirmation.
  • The footer links an 18 U.S.C. 2257 record-keeping statement, a policy against human trafficking and sexual exploitation, a complaint and content-removal policy and a consent and content policy.
  • The site says people in photographs may not be real members, that some data is for illustration only, and that it runs no criminal background checks on members. Promotional copy that describes members should respect those lines.

On operators, the footer says the site is run in the United States by Various Inc. in Mountain View, CA, in the United Kingdom by Ventnor Enterprise Limited of Reigate, Surrey, and in the EU by Pixojay Ltd of Nicosia, Cyprus. AdultFriendFinder, Adult Friend Finder, FriendFinder Networks and its logo are service marks of Various, Inc., which holds the copyright from 1996 to 2026.

Who it suits and who it does not

The program suits an affiliate who already has adult dating, swinger, hookup or trans dating traffic and wants several brands under one account. An affiliate with a niche audience can send it to the matching niche site, such as TSDates.com or SwapFinder.com, without a second registration, and a named affiliate manager is the contact once the account is live.

It suits less well an affiliate who picks programs by rate card. Nothing on the partner page lets a reader compare the commission with another program before applying, and the footer warns that rates move with performance. It is also not a route for creators or models: the live models and cam chat sections are member features, and the partner page describes no performer payout.

Two caveats are worth stating. Registration asks for a lot of personal detail, a date of birth and a postal address included, and it passes through approval, so a same-day start is not promised. And the member counters, rankings and "largest" claims on the consumer pages are the site's own marketing, useful for a pitch but not a measure of what an affiliate will be paid.
