What SexLikeReal is
SexLikeReal, written SLR on its own pages, is a VR porn platform that sells videos from many studios through one account, and its affiliate program pays a revenue share on what referred customers spend there. The affiliate portal calls it "the world's largest VR porn affiliate program", a claim the program makes about itself. The portal offers a free sign-up, and its agreement names the operator of SexLikeReal.com and SexLikeReal.jp as DTM. The program is for an affiliate with an audience of VR headset owners or adult video viewers. It is not a place for a performer to sell content: the library is supplied by studios, and the main site lists separate partnership routes for content partners and for creators of sex toy scripts.
How earning works
The program is a revenue share. The agreement says affiliates "have an option to promote the Websites via the Affiliate Program's revenue sharing by using proper link code", and that for each referral credited to the account the affiliate receives the commission rate on "all money actually spent by that user and received by us". The landing page puts it more simply: "Get a share of every sale to new and existing SLR users!" Rates differ by product, and the landing page lists four lines: monthly and annual premium subscriptions with their rebills, lifetime premium, pay-per-video purchases, and live cams with interactive scripts.
The pitch rests on the breadth of the catalog. The landing page says the library holds "72,406 videos from 793 studios" and adds that "Customers might switch from one studio to another and you always get paid." The affiliate is paid on the customer's spending with the platform, not with one studio's brand, so a customer who moves between studios stays credited. The page also claims "thousands of sales per day" and says "whales spend thousands of dollars for SLR services." Those are marketing statements by the program, not earnings an affiliate can expect.
What the visitor is sold shapes conversion. The landing page promotes an app it compares to Netflix, which brings VR video to each headset with a single click, and pages that gather one performer's videos from various studios in one place. On the main site the service runs through the DeoVR app, and the site says it offers integration with haptic sex toy devices, passthrough viewing and PIN protection for privacy. The site's navigation lists VR videos, shorts, VR cams, AR videos, interactive videos and SLR Originals. On the cam side, a blog post says the live VR cam streams are run in partnership with Dreamcam, that they are open to all SLR users, and that a user who wants a specific performance pays with tokens. So one affiliate link covers subscriptions, single-video purchases, live cams and interactive scripts.
Tracking runs on a unique link. The agreement says each affiliate gets a "Unique Link" tied to the account, and that the websites track a visitor with "cookies, sessions and IP tracking" and services such as Google Analytics. A referral counts only if the user is tracked from the click to a purchase within a period the agreement calls the "Lifetime", which is set in the program rules inside the portal, and the affiliate's link must be "the last Unique Link used by that user before making the purchase." A sale is not credited where the user's browser settings block tracking. Reports are available in the program portal; the agreement says they are updated regularly but not in real time, and are subject to final recalculation for uncompleted transactions and fraud.
Promotion is tightly defined. The agreement licenses the affiliate to use the program's promotional materials, which it lists as feeds, dumps, banners, emulated chat windows, toolbars, thumbnails and embeddable video players, and it bars any other material: "You may not use any other materials (e.g., your own banners, widgets, etc.)". The materials and marks must be used exactly as supplied. An affiliate may not bid on search keywords that include the platform's marks, register a domain or account name containing them, or build a page that could be taken for the platform's own.
Several common channels are closed. The agreement's conditions say "You shall not use social media promotions", "You shall not send any e-mails to advertise on behalf of us", and bar incentive traffic, "ghost sites" or "fake sites", and "discount" sites, "coupon" sites and deals sites. The program may also refuse or divert an affiliate's traffic for any reason. In practice the program is built for someone who places the supplied links and players in front of an existing web audience.
Money and rules
The payout model is a revenue share on money actually received, after a processing fee, credited monthly and paid once a minimum balance is reached; chargebacks and refunds are deducted, and the affiliate must contract as a business. The agreement says commissions "will be calculated and totaled on a monthly basis" and paid "within approximately thirty (30) days following the end of that month."
In October 2026 the landing page lists these rates:
- Monthly Premium, Annual and rebills: the page lists 35%.
- Pay Per Video: the page lists 35%.
- Lifetime Premium: the page lists 15%.
- Live cams and interactive scripts: the page lists 15%.
Further terms from the agreement:
- Processing fee: a fee "is deducted from every payment made by a customer" before the commission is calculated, and the agreement says the fee can change.
- Minimum: totals under a "Payment Floor" set by the program are held until the balance reaches it. The agreement does not state the amount.
- Maintenance fee: an account that has not accrued the Payment Floor in 6 months, or is suspended or terminated, can be charged a maintenance fee of up to the Payment Floor per 6-month period.
- Payment methods: the agreement names wire payments and says service fees may apply to certain methods.
- Holds and deductions: the program may hold any commission it suspects is fraudulent, deduct for chargebacks, and set off later refunds against future payments or invoice the affiliate, payable "no later than thirty (30) days following receipt."
- Tax: tax documents may be required; an affiliate who has not returned them "within sixty (60) days of enrollment" can be suspended or terminated, with accrued commissions forfeited. An affiliate in the European Union must comply with intra-community VAT rules, including VIES registration.
- Eligibility: at least 18, or the local age of majority if higher. The affiliate also warrants being "an independent business entity (a corporation, limited liability company, or analogous)" and "not contracting hereunder as a natural person", and payments can be withheld until that is documented.
- Content duties: no material showing anyone under 18, and written records in line with 18 U.S.C. 2257 for material the affiliate publishes, "whether you are subject to United States law or not".
- Termination: either party may end participation by notice. If the affiliate ends it for any reason, or the program ends it for cause, the agreement says "we shall not pay you any Commissions owing or accrued to you."
- Changes: the program rules and the agreement can be amended by posting, with no other notice.
- Law: the agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Slovenia, with its courts as the venue.
Who it suits and who it does not
The program suits an affiliate with an audience that already wants VR: a site covering headsets and immersive video, a forum, or a general adult site that can show a visitor the app. The rule that the affiliate is paid whichever studio the customer ends up watching is the main reason to consider it over a single-studio program, and rebills on monthly and annual plans are included in the subscription rate.
It does not suit everyone who would otherwise promote by link. A creator whose reach is on social media, a newsletter owner and a coupon or deals publisher are each excluded by the agreement's conditions, and a private individual does not meet the business-entity warranty. The Payment Floor amount and the length of the referral "Lifetime" sit in the program rules inside the portal, not on the public pages.
The agreement also asks for care on exit: an affiliate who terminates loses commissions that are owed or accrued, and a dormant account can be charged a maintenance fee. A performer or studio looking to be paid for content should use the content partner route the main site lists, since this portal pays for referrals only.
