What Arousr is

Arousr is an adult chat service with an Android app for texting, phone calls and video calls, and a separate affiliate program at partners.arousr.com that pays promoters for the paying users they send. The affiliate side is where the business sets out how an earner gets paid: commissions per qualified action, paid monthly, for publishers who promote through their own websites, email or online advertising. The affiliate portal runs in English, and the consumer site offers English and German. Entry is selective: Arousr reviews every application at its sole discretion and says it may accept or reject one for any reason.

In short, the program is aimed at an affiliate with a site, a mailing list or paid traffic and a clean compliance record. The rates are set per offer inside the program, the FAQ sets a minimum balance before a monthly payout, and the product being promoted is a pay-as-you-go chat app with a free trial.

How earning works here

The product the traffic lands on. Arousr's public site presents itself as a "Random Video Chat & Texting App". It says the app is "free to download, free to try", and in October 2026 it says Arousr gives 100 free credits to get started. After the credits are used, users pay to continue, and the site says they are charged only for the credits they used, with no subscription to forget about. A new user downloads the Android app, registers a phone number, logs in and can browse everyone currently online. Users can chat by text, make phone calls or video calls, and add people they like to a list of contacts so they can reach them again quickly. The site describes the people on the other end as chat hosts and "real women who are genuinely interested in meeting people", and says users "won't meet bots". It states that everyone on the site is 18+, that Arousr runs a verification process on its connections, and that transactions are encrypted using SSL.

Those are the buyer-side claims, and they are what an affiliate asks an audience to try: a free download, a block of free credits, then pay-as-you-go credits with no recurring plan. That shapes the pitch. The offer is low-commitment for the visitor, and the money comes later, when the free credits run out and the user buys more.

The affiliate program. Affiliates apply from Arousr's website with accurate and complete information. Arousr then emails the applicant to accept or reject. The FAQ says applications are typically reviewed within 2-5 business days, and the factors it names are media quality, compliance history and promotional methods. A rejected applicant may reapply after improving promotional methods, website quality or other factors, and the FAQ gives a contact for feedback on an application.

Once accepted, the affiliate promotes Arousr and is paid for Qualified Actions. The FAQ says "The exact commission amount per action is specified in your program offer details," so the rates sit inside the program rather than on the public pages. Arousr generates an invoice showing all Qualified Actions and the corresponding commissions, and states that "All tracking and determinations are made by Arousr in its sole discretion." The affiliate works from Arousr's own figures, not an independent count.

Cost-per-action offers. This is the CPA side of the business: a payment per qualified action rather than a share of each user's spending, under offer details that come with the account. The affiliate portal has an Affiliate Home, a Manage Account area and a sign-up page, and payment options are set in the account settings.

Allowed promotion. The FAQ lists:

  • your own websites, where you own or control the content
  • emails you send, with proper suppression list compliance
  • online advertisements
  • affiliate networks you operate, with strict oversight

Not allowed. Ads on auction sites such as eBay or Amazon, spyware, stealware or malware, cookie-stuffing or click-fraud, automated bots that generate false clicks, links in chat rooms or message boards without written permission, targeting users under 18, misleading or deceptive content, and modifying or altering the provided links. Only one active affiliate account is allowed: the FAQ says multiple accounts or alternate identities are prohibited and "will result in immediate termination and potential legal action."

The chat itself. The consumer pages describe texting, phone calls and video calls with chat hosts as the product. The terms speak of performers and members, say contact happens "solely and exclusively through the website", and have users agree never to try to meet a performer or member in person. Users also agree not to use the service for illegal acts, harassment or bullying, and the terms say the content is monitored by administrators and illegal use is reported to law enforcement. The site does not publish recruitment or pay terms for chat hosts, so the earning route it documents is the affiliate one.

Money and rules

The payout model is a commission per qualified action, paid once a month, with the chargeback risk left on the affiliate. The details below are as the affiliate FAQ gave them in October 2026.

  • Payout schedule. The FAQ says commissions are paid monthly, provided the total balance is $100 or more.
  • Threshold. The FAQ says a smaller balance rolls over to the next month and keeps rolling monthly until it reaches that minimum, and is then paid within the current monthly payment cycle.
  • Rates. Set per action in each affiliate's program offer details.
  • Payment methods. The FAQ says methods are detailed in the Affiliate Program dashboard and that common options include ACH/bank transfer, PayPal and wire transfer, with the available options shown in the account settings.
  • Chargebacks. "Payment for commissions is only guaranteed to the extent that Arousr has actually received funds from Clients." If a client fails to pay or issues a chargeback, the FAQ says Arousr is not liable for those commissions.
  • Account rules. One active account per affiliate, approval at Arousr's discretion, and tracking decided by Arousr.
  • Consumer terms. The terms on the chat site bar anyone under 18 from using it, yet have the user affirm having attained 21 years of age on entry. They describe the content as provided for entertainment purposes only, make the user responsible for all payments owed, cite United States, UK and Canada law, and submit disputes to the jurisdiction of the Quebec Province, Canada legal system.

The affiliate FAQ does not publish commission amounts or a cookie duration; it points to the offer details an approved affiliate receives.

Who it suits and who it does not

It suits an affiliate who already owns web properties or an email list in the adult space and wants a pay-per-action chat offer beside what they run. The allowed channels map neatly onto a publisher with a site, a mailer or paid ad campaigns. A free app with a block of free credits is an easy offer to explain to an audience, and the pay-as-you-go model means there is no subscription to sell.

It suits someone who accepts discretionary approval. Arousr weighs media quality and compliance history, so an affiliate with a clean record at other programs has something to show, and one who is turned down can apply again after improving their methods.

The caveats are real. A small account can wait several months for its first payment, since balances under the minimum simply roll over. The rates sit inside the program, so the offer cannot be compared with others before applying. The chargeback clause means earnings are only as safe as the payments of the users sent. Tracking and determinations rest with Arousr alone. Promoters who post links in chat rooms or forums need written permission first, and anyone planning auction-site ads or modified links is ruled out.

A chat host looking to sell time on a marketplace is not the audience of the partner site, whose whole subject is promoting the app.
