What Future Method is

Future Method is a sexual wellness brand that sells anal health and anal play products, and it runs an affiliate program it calls the Cheek Squad. The program is free to apply to, according to the affiliate page, and it pays a commission on the total value of every sale an affiliate refers. The page addresses creators, educators, sex therapists and wellness advocates, so the reader it has in mind is someone who already talks about sexual health, with an audience that listens. The store ships from a warehouse in the U.S., and its FAQ says it delivers to all 50 states as well as Canada, the UK, the EU and Australia.

The brand's story is told by its co-founder, Dr. Evan Goldstein. In a statement on the about page he says too many patients came to him to treat damage caused by improper preparation practices, sex itself and what happens afterward, which he attributes to a lack of information and a lack of product advancement. He says he created Future Method to address those unmet needs, aiming to be the first scientific, holistic and educational brand devoted to safe, healthy, judgment-free pleasure. The site calls itself "the Science of Sex" and presents its education pages as a home for gay sex education. For an affiliate, that matters because the voice is clinical and stigma-free, not erotic, and promotion that matches that tone fits the brand.

The recognition the site lists is its own selection: a Fast Company line about the most innovative wellness companies of 2021, a "Best Anal Dilator Set" credit from GQ, a press quote from BeautyIndependent, and a banner of 250+ 5-star reviews. These are claims on the brand's home page, and an affiliate who repeats them should attribute them to the brand.

How earning works here

The model is a per-sale commission tracked by a personal link and code. The affiliate page lays out 4 steps. The applicant applies, and the page asks "Got 1K+ followers?" before describing the application as free, fast and open to anyone who shares the brand's outlook. Once approved, the affiliate gets what the page calls an affiliate toolkit: content tips, image libraries, swipe copy and short training videos. The affiliate then shares a custom link and code "on socials, stories, or anywhere your audience vibes with Future Method". In the last step, every purchase through the link earns the commission.

No website is required. The page says the brand collaborates with partners who are active in digital spaces, "whether through blogs, social media, newsletters, or communities", and it welcomes people who are new to affiliate marketing as well as experienced ones. It describes the partners it wants as bold, inclusive and sex-positive, and passionate about wellness, education and safe exploration. Approval is the brand's decision, so the follower count is a starting point and not a guarantee.

The page lists what partners receive beyond the commission. Tracking comes with a 90-day cookie window. Affiliates get a custom tracking dashboard that shows performance in real time, creative assets and support, and exclusive promos and product launches reserved for affiliates. An email address for affiliate questions is given at the foot of the page.

The products an affiliate promotes are laid out in collections named Prepare, Play, Care, Daily and Lifestyle. The featured row shows a 4-piece glass anal dilator set, and the home page presents a reusable douche kit, a single-use douche kit and a beginner dilator set as new arrivals. It also advertises fiber and pre and probiotic supplements, a silicone lubricant and an exfoliating scrub, and it promotes Dr. Goldstein's debut book, Butt Seriously, described as a guide to anal health and anal sex. The site offers a quiz that matches a shopper to products.

Subscriptions are part of what an affiliate's audience may buy. The FAQ says a subscription renews every 4 weeks, with a reminder email 3 days before each renewal, and that a customer can skip a shipment or cancel free of charge before the stated cut-off. There is no hold function, so skipping one order at a time is the alternative.

One feature stands out for conversion. The site accepts HSA and FSA funds, through a payment partner called Flex, for selected products: the home page says the fiber, the pre and probiotic and the silicone lube are covered. The HSA/FSA page explains that a shopper with insufficient funds in the account can enter a credit card at the Flex checkout, and that Flex provides an itemized receipt or a Letter of Medical Necessity for reimbursement. For an affiliate writing for a health-minded audience, that is a concrete point to explain.

The brand also runs an education site. One article there is a beginner's guide to pegging that points readers to the brand's anal douche kit, and the home page links pieces on bottoming with IBS and on the risks of douching with plain water. Content like this shows how the brand itself ties information to product, and an affiliate who writes explainers is working in the same style.

Shipping and fulfillment follow standard retail rules. Per the FAQ, orders go out in plain cardboard boxes, the target is to fulfill within one business day, ground transit for domestic orders ranges from 2 to 7 business days, and 2-day expedited shipping takes 2 business days after the order ships. For orders outside the U.S., duties and taxes are prepaid and shown at checkout. The FAQ also names retail stockists for a limited selection of products, so the web shop is not the only place a follower can buy.

Money and rules

The commission is a flat share of each referred sale, with no tiers described. As of October 2026 the affiliate page offers "20% commission on the total value of every sale you refer", and repeats the rate in its last step: "Every purchase through your link earns you 20% commission".

The affiliate page does not publish a payout threshold, schedule or payout method.

One store rule bears on what an affiliate tells followers. The FAQ says that because of the intimate nature of the products the store cannot accept returns or exchanges, and all sales are final. A subscription order cannot be canceled, changed or refunded once it has been processed. The FAQ also says the store does not ship to APO or FPO addresses and is not liable for parcels lost or stolen after the carrier confirms delivery.

Who it suits

The program suits an educator, sex therapist, wellness writer or creator whose audience is interested in anal health, preparation and safe practice, particularly gay men, since the brand presents its education pages as a home for gay sex education. A creator who explains products with a calm, informed voice, or runs a newsletter or social channel about sexual health, fits the tone the page asks for. The toolkit and the dashboard lower the effort for someone new to affiliate work, and the 90-day cookie window gives a long credit period for products people research before buying. A creator with no site can take part, because the link and code are meant for social posts and stories.

The limits are specific. The brand is narrow, so an audience outside the anal wellness topic will find little to promote. The page asks about a following of 1K+ and approves partners itself, which leaves out an account that is just starting. The all-sales-final rule is something an affiliate has to be upfront about. And the program pays on product referrals only, so for a performer whose main income is fan subscriptions it is an addition alongside that work.
