What Texting Factory is
Texting Factory is an employer of freelance chat operators. It pays people to answer text messages from clients, including adult and fantasy conversation, and it pays per message replied to. Joining costs nothing: the FAQ says "We will never charge any upfront fees in order to join our team." The site is written in English and is also offered in German, Norwegian, Slovak, Finnish and Swedish, and its application page asks for fluent English, an own device, an age over 18 and no experience.
This is a job route rather than a creator platform. The operator does not sell content, build a following or run a profile. The client talks to a persona, the operator writes the replies, and the operator is paid for the work done. That makes it a fit for someone who wants income from writing, with no camera, no voice and no personal brand.
How earning works here
The core of the job is replying to messages on the platform operators log in to. The adult texter page explains the arrangement: Texting Factory recruits the texters, and its clients run online fantasy chat platforms where those texters are "the backbone of the service." The about page describes the same business from the other side, as chat moderator services for companies worldwide, with operators who keep users happy "while respecting the limits set by our customers." The chat operator page describes it as chatting with clients through text messages, about "everything from everyday life to dreams and fantasies", whether "the weather, sport or something a little naughtier." A separate page on adult texting says clients can want light chat about sports, dreams or movies, and others want to explore fantasies or intimate talk. The operator's task is to keep the conversation flowing in a natural way and slip into a character. The same page says the role is very different from webcam or phone sex jobs, because it is text only.
Pay is by the message. The site states: "With us, you get paid per message you reply to. There is no limit to the number of messages you can reply to." It adds that the basic rate is calculated from how many messages you reply to, and that rates per message depend on factors such as the time of day and holidays. It does not publish the per-message rate itself. Bonuses and other incentives are paid on certain occasions, for example when an operator sends more than a certain number of messages or refers a friend, and the about page links higher earnings to "engaging and longer conversations."
Scheduling is left to the operator. The platform can be used 24 hours a day, the operator decides between full-time and part-time work, and the work can be done from anywhere in the world on a computer, tablet or smartphone. The adult chat page describes the basic requirement as a computer with internet access, and the FAQ sets the order: an internet connection and a PC for the training, after which an approved operator can work from a cell phone, tablet or PC. The FAQ also says most of its operators do the job part-time next to another job, while some have it as their full-time work.
Getting started is quick by the site's own account. The home page says the application takes no longer than 5 minutes, and the chat operator page says the application process itself takes less than 24 hours, after which the operator can start and is paid for the work the very next week. The FAQ gives a longer figure for the whole path from sign-up to working, "usually done within 3 days." Both figures are on the site, and the ID check is part of the path.
Operators work behind a username. The FAQ says they log in with a unique username and password and reply anonymously, that real identity and personal information are never disclosed to anyone, and that the work is text messages only. Training is mentioned in several places. The about page describes a team of coaches and a supportive network with "training and guidance," and the chat operator page notes that a new operator needs time to learn the system and the topics, then gets faster and more attentive to bonuses with experience.
There is no discovery side to this business. The operator has no profile, storefront or promo links to promote, and the only referral feature the site names is the refer-a-friend bonus mentioned above.
Money and rules
Payout. "We pay salaries weekly, in Euro and through an online payment provider." The FAQ repeats the weekly schedule and makes one promise, "we always pay on time!" The same chat operator page adds that as a freelancer, the operator is responsible for their own taxes and other legal aspects when receiving money. The site does not name the payment provider or publish a minimum payout threshold.
Earnings claims, which are the site's own. In October 2026 the chat operator page says an operator who works 4-8 hours per day for 5 days per week "can earn € 250-450 per week". It adds that this can differ because message rates are different every time and depend on available volume and the operator's average quality. The adult texter page carries its own weekly figure for part-time texters and a monthly one for its top earners. These are marketing statements by the service itself. The FAQ is more guarded: how much an operator makes depends on how much work they put in, and some earn "a very decent salary, while others just enjoy some extra spending money."
Status. Operators are hired as freelancers and sign a freelance contract that includes an NDA. The FAQ states there is no binding work period and a freelancer can stop whenever they want.
Identity and age. The FAQ requires operators to be above 18 years old and explains the ID check as confirming identity, confirming age and making sure "we are paying the right person." Identity verification is done through a partner named Evalid, which assesses the ID and tells Texting Factory whether everything is in order. Gender does not matter, according to the FAQ.
Language. The adult texter page says an operator needs to be able to write in English, keep a conversation going and be open-minded.
The adult texter page is frank about the downside: some clients may be rude or cross boundaries, which can affect an operator's mood, and the job carries a stigma with some friends and family. Its advice is to treat the work as professional, set clear boundaries and schedule focused hours.
Company claims. The about page lists 25320 moderators trained yearly, 57 coaches available, 144000 messages sent daily and an applicant success rate of 95 in 100. These are the site's own figures, given without any note on how they are counted.
Who it suits and who it does not
It suits a person who wants steady, flexible remote work and is comfortable writing adult-themed conversation in English. Anonymity is built into the job, which matters to someone who cannot or will not appear on camera or use their own voice, and a new earner with no audience loses nothing, since the clients come from the platform. Pay arrives weekly in Euro, and the FAQ's statement that no upfront fees are ever charged means there is no cost to start.
It is less suited to anyone who wants to build a personal brand, set their own prices or be paid per hour. Income depends on the number of messages replied to, on rates that move with time of day and holidays, and on the operator's average quality, and no per-message rate is published, so earnings cannot be planned in advance. The site's own weekly example is tied to 4-8 hours a day, 5 days a week, which is full-time effort. English fluency is required for the English application, and the operator has to accept that some clients will test boundaries.
The freelance contract, which the FAQ calls an NDA, is the only contract on offer, and the site puts taxes and other legal aspects on the operator, so anyone who wants an employee arrangement with benefits will not find one described here.
