What CraveU AI is
CraveU AI is an NSFW AI chat and roleplay site where users talk to characters that other users build, and it pays those character creators. It is not a clip store: what a creator sells here is a written chatbot character or story, and the money comes from the tokens users spend talking to it. Its "Creator Benefits" page is subtitled "by Making NSFW Characters" and runs two programs, a cash reward on token use and a "First 50 Challenge" for creators moving over from other platforms. The terms say the service is provided by COZYAI LLC, a company registered in the U.S., and the DMCA address is in Jersey City, New Jersey.
Joining as a creator costs nothing beyond signing in. The page says "As long as you start to create your chatbots, you can sign up and start earning money from your chatbots", and the terms say the basic service is free for customers, who buy message credits for more use.
How earning works here
The model is a revenue share on usage. A creator publishes characters and stories, users spend tokens talking to them, and the creator is credited a share of that token spend in US dollars, settled once a day into an on-site Wallet and withdrawn through Ko-Fi. There is no per-item sale and no price for the creator to set.
Characters and stories. A creator signs in, taps "Create" and publishes a Character or a Story; the page notes that "Public content can reach more users and generate more earnings." The home page lists community characters with their creator's handle, a tag set (gender, point of view, genre tags such as Romantic, Fantasy, Femdom or Wholesome) and the token size of the character's definition, under a Hotlist and filters, so users find characters by browsing and tags. The FAQ adds a practical point for creators: each character has limited memory for its settings plus the chat history, so creators should "avoid overly detailed settings".
What users pay. Users buy tokens, and each generated response consumes them; the FAQ says longer and more complex conversations use more. The pricing page sells 3 membership plans, each with a monthly token allowance and a cheaper annual billing option, and 3 one-off token packs, bought by credit card or in-app purchase. That paid token spend is the pool the creator share is drawn from. The site's marketing also highlights SceneSnap, which "allows users to instantly generate images based on the current chat scenario", and support for "models like GPT-4, Claude, and Grok".
The Creator Token Share. "Payouts are calculated based on the Tokens users consume for each chatbot - so the more people chat with your chatbots, the more money you can make." In October 2026 the page sets the terms: "You earn a 10% Creator Token Share when users spend CraveU Tokens from a paid membership or purchased Token Pack on your Characters and Stories."
Free Model Rewards. Separately, "each paid subscriber can generate Free Model Rewards through eligible Free Model usage across creator content: up to 1M Tokens on Essential, 3M on Pro, and 10M on Ultimate per UTC month." So paying subscribers who chat on the free models still generate creator income, capped per subscriber each month by plan.
Rules on counting. "Interactions with your own content do not count toward Creator Token Share or Free Model Rewards." "Earnings are calculated daily in USD and added to your Wallet after the 00:00 UTC settlement." Questions about earnings go to the site's Discord.
The First 50 Challenge. This is a migration offer, not the cash program. "Rewards are limited to the first 50 creators who meet the criteria", and the criterion is being "an active creator on another platform with over 500K total chat messages." The page says a qualifying creator who reposts 15+ of her chatbots on CraveU AI earns a free annual subscription to the Essential Plan, the entry membership. To claim it she opens a Discord ticket with a link to her profile on the other platform, a screenshot of it as proof, and her CraveU UID and registered email.
Money and rules
Payouts. Ko-Fi is the payout rail: a creator signs up for Ko-Fi and adds the Ko-Fi profile link on the Wallet page. Payouts are requested by the creator, at most once per month, and "Payments may take up to 5 business days to process." A withdrawal is processed only above a minimum balance and with correct payment details, and a request on a smaller balance is declined; as of October 2026 the page gives "the minimum payment threshold of $50". Delays go to Discord. The terms require every user to be over 18.
Content rules. The Community Guidelines say all characters must be over 18, and their age must be specified if not evident; aging-up is allowed only if the character is stated as 18+ and drawn consistently with that age. Hyperrealistic imagery that cannot easily be told apart from real photographs is strictly forbidden, including AI-generated images, and NSFW content must be labeled. The FAQ lists child exploitation, privacy violations, sexual content involving anyone under 18 and bestiality as prohibited, and says characters with violations "will be removed immediately". The guidelines also bar characters based on real individuals who have said they do not wish to be portrayed, portrayals of lesser-known people, aging up human actors, and AI-generated explicit images of real individuals; fictional animal-like species must be anthropomorphic.
Moderation. The site monitors bot profile images, gallery images and definition text, and anyone can report content by a button, by email or on Discord. The guidelines say reported content is reviewed by the moderation team within 24 hours on weekdays and within 48 hours on weekends or holidays, that it may be hidden while under review, and that the team also audits newly created content daily, by hand. CraveU reserves the right to remove content or restrict accounts without prior notice.
Ownership. The FAQ says "All characters on our platform are uploaded by the creators themselves", with "zero tolerance for theft or plagiarism", and unauthorized use of a character can be reported with evidence. Under the terms the creator stays solely responsible for what she submits and CraveU "does not claim ownership" of it, but she grants the company a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual and irrevocable license to use it. Accounts that infringe others' rights, especially repeatedly, can be disabled or terminated.
Refunds. Membership fees are non-refundable once the login details have been used, and the FAQ says refunds are available only under exceptional circumstances. The refund policy says a refund that is granted goes back to the original payment method within 10 days of the user's contact with client relations.
Who it suits and who it does not
CraveU AI suits a writer who already builds NSFW roleplay characters and wants them to earn: the creator page pays a share of the paid tokens users spend on her characters and stories, with Free Model Rewards on top for subscribers using the free models. A creator with a large following on another character platform can claim a free year of the Essential Plan by bringing over 15+ bots. The page describes daily settlement in USD and monthly withdrawals above a minimum balance, which suits someone who can let a balance build, and Ko-Fi is the only payout route it names.
The caveats are real. This pays for chatbot characters, not for photos, clips or a creator's own image, so it is a fit for writers rather than performers. The share is a percentage of token spend, not a price she sets, payouts run through Ko-Fi alone, and the strict age and hyperrealism rules mean characters must be clearly adult and not photo-real.
