What it is

Unlockt (Unlockt.me) is a payment-link generator for creators who sell digital media. In its own words it is "a secure app that allows creators to monetize their digital media by sharing them through paid links." It is not a marketplace. The FAQ answers "Do I find content on the app?" with "No, we're not a platform. We're a payment link generator, providing a secure solution to lock your content behind a paywall. You decide where and how to share your locked content." It pays creators who sell through its links, and the FAQ states a commission on each transaction, split between seller and buyer. The app runs on iOS and Android, the service is restricted to adults, and its Digital Services Act page lists the European Union, the United Kingdom and the United States as its primary markets.

How earning works here

The paid link. The home page sums the flow up as "Import, lock, share and earn money." A creator selects media from their phone, the home page says up to 10 photos or videos, sets a price, locks the content and generates a secure payment link. The FAQ explains that the technology "securely locks your content behind a payment wall," so files "cannot be accessed or viewed until payment is made." The home page says fans can open content "in just one tap," and the checkout is described as "fast & anonymous" with "no subscriptions." A buyer does not need the app: "As a buyer, simply pay with your credit card to access the content," and only creators generating payment links need it. The FAQ also says buyers can pay using various payment methods. Neither side learns the other's identity: "Do I know who the buyer is? No, we ensure complete privacy for both sellers and buyers."

Getting started. The FAQ gives the order. Download the app, sign up with personal information, verify identity by uploading a valid ID and a selfie, set a price on files, and add bank account information to receive payments. The earning checklist adds that the bank account must be in the creator's name and in the same country as the verified photo ID, and that "You can only set a file price once your account is verified." Age verification is powered by Veriff and media moderation by Hive, per the home page.

Where sales come from. Since there is no discovery on the app, traffic is the creator's own. The home page tells creators to share the link on Instagram, Snapchat, X, Telegram and DMs, and the FAQ adds social media, email or a blog: "You can share it wherever you want!" Links can go out one at a time, or a creator can gather everything in an Unlockt profile with a name, picture, bio and links, then "Drop your Unlockt profile in bio" so fans have one hub to buy from "24/7."

Tools around the link. The home page's feature guide lists these:

  • A link description, a title or caption of up to 140 characters plus emojis.
  • Blur custom, which lets the creator adjust the blur on each media item and choose a video preview.
  • Free previews ("Show a little, sell a lot").
  • Bundles and discounts, to give fans more for less.
  • A voice note on the link page.
  • Tips, which fans can send from the profile, the links or the checkout. The page says the creator keeps the whole tip.
  • An analytics dashboard that tracks sales, earnings, views and performance in real time.
  • Affiliation: a creator can share an affiliate code and "earn extra cash from referrals."

The Unlockt number. Every creator gets a unique Unlockt number. The creator chats from the app's Chat tab and fans read the messages in their own Messages app, like a text. The home page says a creator can keep the number free to build closeness, "or charge for access and turn your inbox into a revenue stream," and can change that choice at any time. Paid chat is therefore a second earning route beside the locked files.

Creator showcase. The site's creator pages feature a DJ and dancer, a pair of dancers and a musician. They talk about setting their own prices and selling behind-the-scenes material and sneak peeks. These are the site's own showcases and give no earnings figures.

Money and rules

The model is a commission on each transaction, charged partly to the seller and partly to the buyer, with payouts by bank transfer to a KYC-verified creator. In October 2026 the FAQ puts it plainly: "Unlockt.me charges a 25% commission on each transaction. To make it fair we split it between the seller (10%) and the buyer (15%)." It says the fee covers platform maintenance, security and customer support. Tips are the exception, since the home page says creators keep them in full.

On payouts, the home page says "Unlimited payouts. Get your earnings in 5 days." The FAQ is more exact: after a sale, it takes up to 5 days for the money to appear in the Unlockt wallet "for security reasons," and transferring it to a bank account typically takes another 24 hours. Payouts go to a bank account in the creator's name, in the same country as the photo ID verified on the account. The site does not state a minimum payout.

Eligibility is set out in the FAQ: a user must be at least 18, legally able to enter a contract under local law, and permitted by local law to use the service. The DSA page describes mandatory age and identity verification (KYC) for creators and for monetization features, covering official ID documents, date of birth and tamper detection, and says any account found to belong to someone under 18 is suspended immediately and permanently. Moderation combines automated tools, human review, reporting with rapid takedown and cooperation with authorities. The FAQ warns that sharing prohibited content or committing fraud can get an account suspended or terminated, and points creators to the terms of service. It also says the platform uses "advanced encryption" and that "transactions are monitored to prevent fraudulent activities."

The DSA page names 2 operating entities, UNLOCKT.ME SAS in France and UNLOCKT.ME LLC in the United States, and the footer gives a Paris address for the French company. The footer links a 2257 Disclosure, a Report Abuse form, a service status page and the legal center.

Who it suits and who it does not

Unlockt fits a creator who already has followers on social platforms or messaging apps and wants a simple way to charge for individual files without opening a store. It suits someone who values buyer and seller anonymity, pay-per-link sales without subscriptions, and quick payouts: earnings reach the wallet within 5 days and the bank transfer typically follows in another 24 hours. Creators who sell bundles, previews or paid chat from one profile page get those tools in the same app, tips carry no commission, and the affiliate code adds a referral route. A faceless seller who does not want to manage a storefront gets a link and a checkout.

The limits are clear. A new creator with no audience gets no help finding buyers, because Unlockt says outright it is not a platform. The seller's share of the commission applies to every sale, and buyers carry the larger part. The bank-account-and-ID matching rule excludes anyone whose account is in another country than their ID. The site's creator showcase leans on music and dance examples, so an adult seller has fewer models to follow on its own pages.
