What it is
Cloud 9 Modeling is a webcam modeling agency that recruits females, males and couples to broadcast from home on a network of live video chat sites. Its signup page calls it "the oldest and most experienced internet modeling agency representing webcam models since 1996," and its pages promise "No Setup Fees"; the modeling-jobs page adds "We charge absolutely no fees and provide you with your own personal executive." The homepage describes the network as the "Web's largest and most upscale video chat network," names Playboy, Hustler, Vivid and Penthouse among the big names it works with, and says its technology can broadcast featured models on over 3,500+ webcam sites. Those are the agency's claims. The pages say no experience is needed and that a model needs only "a computer, webcam and high speed internet." The site's copyright line names ECWM Media LLC. The application form takes applicants from a long country list, with a state field for US residents, and the jobs page says webcam models are wanted worldwide.
How earning works
The agency presents the work as commission based. The modeling-jobs page calls it "a commission based modeling job so the model is in control of how much they work and how much they earn." Customers pay for private shows and tip, and the model guide is blunt that private shows are where the money is: make privates last as long as possible, talk to the customer for as long as possible once in private, and build a long-lasting relationship so he comes back. It describes the upscale customer who keeps a model in private for 1 hour to 3 hours or more and returns again and again, and a hall of fame for the longest private shows that models can visit once approved.
The public room is the shop window. The guide says "Always play hard to get in the open room and never show too much" and "Never get to personal in the open room." Most comments should go to the room as a group, with only brief individual attention, so that the message is that a guest who wants the model's attention should take her to a private show. It tells models to greet every newcomer by nickname, to use humor, to keep the microphone on because talking sells more than typing, and to take quick notes on each customer.
The guide also explains the chat software's customer tiers. Gold users are VIP members who spend a lot; white users are premium members who spend; gray users are basic users with no credit card on file, whose tips are fake and who should be blocked from basic chat. Real tips show in purple, and any other tip color is fake and grounds for a ban. A model can right-click a user to take notes, block or ban, read whispers that only she sees, and use her phone in private to keep a customer there longer, with her number blocked.
Traffic is the agency's pitch. The jobs pages say it pays "millions of dollars in marketing to keep the customers and traffic flowing to our sites, so our webcam models always have plenty of traffic in their rooms," and one page speaks of over 5 million visitors per day. A row of logos on the pages marks some of the live chat sites a model appears on when she broadcasts with the agency.
The agency describes what it supplies around the shows. Staff "can have you up and running within a few hours," and a model with a valid photo ID and access to a printer could be working within hours, with a customer service department reviewing documents 24/7. Documents are submitted with 256-bit encryption, the pages say. There is training with a 1 on 1 webcam specialist, 24/7 live person support by phone, a promise that the agency is "certified to fix any computer problems remotely for our models," and real-time online statistics. The internet-modeling page says that after 6 months of working with the agency it builds the model her own fan club website, and that models "are placed according to their marketability." The pages also mention contests and bonus payouts.
The guide gives presentation advice. Females are told to wear matching, fun outfits and high heels, with nails painted, makeup applied evenly and hair styled as if for a date. Males are told to wear a tank top, an unbuttoned shirt or no shirt, with hair groomed and facial hair trimmed. The modeling-jobs page recommends a good room setup and a Logitech HD webcam, and the guide asks for bright light from the front and little from behind or above.
Couples and males are part of the recruiting. The signup page says "We have immediate webcam modeling job openings for females, males and couples." The form asks for gender, with Female and Male options, and states that "Couples must first get approved as solo performers," after which the agency can create a third account for the couple.
Pay progression is described in general terms. The pages say models "receive rate and percentage raises over time," that raises and advances come once a model has been with the agency 3 months, and that this happens "if you are good unlike other webcam modeling agencies." The internet-modeling page recommends 20-30 hours a week.
Money and rules
Payment is by direct deposit or check by mail, at the model's choice, according to the benefit lists on the homepage and the jobs page. The pages publish no payout percentage, payout schedule or threshold.
The agency's earnings statements are all its own claims, and they vary from page to page. In October 2026 the jobs page says "Realistically, you can be making $100 - $2,500+ per week," and the homepage speaks of the potential to earn over $100,000 per year. The homepage, the jobs page and the internet-modeling page each print a different monthly range, the modeling-jobs page speaks of a six figure yearly income that takes a bit of time to reach, and the jobs page says models can earn up to 5 times more than the average full time job.
The pages tie income to the hours a model puts in and how good a performer she is, tell new models not to get discouraged at the start because "Over time you will acquire lots of regular customers," and repeat on every page that a model will make more with Cloud 9 Modeling than anywhere else. That last line is the agency's sales claim.
On privacy, the pages say a model can stay fully anonymous and block as many states and countries as she wants. The work is described as for adult females and males, and the signup form asks for a date of birth, contact details and a password. Questions go to a toll-free number, and the signup page says staff will walk an applicant through the application.
Who it suits and who it does not
It suits a performer who wants an agency to place her on an established chat network, answer the phone at any hour, review her documents fast and fix technical problems. It suits a model who is comfortable keeping a customer talking one on one for long private sessions, since that is what the guide teaches, and one who wants plain direct deposit or a check. Males and couples are named in the openings, and an applicant outside the US can apply through the country list.
It does not suit someone who wants to know a payout percentage before applying. It is a poor fit for a model who wants to build her own brand from day one, since the fan club site comes only after 6 months and the work happens on the network's sites. The earnings claims vary from page to page and are the agency's wording, not a typical result.
