What Internet Modeling is
Internet Modeling is a webcam modeling agency that recruits female, male, gay, trans and couple models to work from home, full or part time, and pays them weekly. The home page says it was founded in 1998, and the about page calls it a "Tampa, Florida based agency" run by women. The model agreement names the contracting company as Cam Media, LTD dba InternetModeling.com, a Florida corporation. Its pages describe it as "one of the largest webcam modeling agencies with over 100,000 models under management," which is the site's own claim. A model earns through tips, private chats, videos and personal item sales on the agency's network, no experience or followers are needed, and the site runs a separate agent program that pays commission for referrals. It says it never charges models fees of any kind and warns readers about scams that charge up-front fees. It does not accept models who work for studios.
How earning works here
The model's main product is private chat sold by the minute. The about page explains that a model gets her chosen rate for each minute with the client in private chat. The model chats with guests by voice and text but earns nothing until tipped or invited to a paid private chat. What happens in the chat is her decision: she has full control over what she offers, fees and nudity included, and no model is ever required to charge a specific rate. The application page sums it up as "No content requirements! Do OR not do whatever you want as long as its legal." The about page adds that some clients want a nude show and some just want a friend to chat with, that the second kind usually come back to the same model again and again, and that personality plays a bigger part in success than a particular look.
Beyond private chat, the pages list tips, videos and personal item sales as further income. Models work any hours from any location, on a Mac, PC, tablet or smartphone, with no encoders, special software or apps to install. The application page says models are ranked only by the number of viewers, under the promise "Always be on the first page!", and that there is no penalty for not earning a certain amount in a pay period. The site offers training from experienced camgirls.
The Our Models page lists the 1,000 highest earning models for the week with their token balances, states what a token is worth in dollars and works through what a model would receive from a large balance at the higher share.
Privacy is a selling point, and the application page lists it point by point: the agency does not record models or take screenshots of broadcasts, models need not create a profile, upload pictures or show their face, they can hide the country they broadcast from, model messages and profiles are hidden from search engines, all users must log in to see live shows, and the agency does not sell personal information. Verified models are those whose age the agency has checked.
The agent program is a second route to earnings, built on a lifetime revenue share, a flat payment per referred paying member and a commission on video sales. In October 2026 the agent page says it "pays agents a 10% lifetime revenue share from all earnings their models receive while working with us", and adds $25 for every new VIP member referred to its webcam network and a 35% commission on every video sold through an agent's link. Agent commissions are paid weekly by Paxum, Skrill, direct deposit or check. An agent also earns a share of the earnings of other agents they refer, which the page illustrates with a yearly example. Models can be agents too. The FAQ says agent commissions do not come out of models' pay, that agents are not required to be exclusive, and that "All you need to do is refer the models to us, we take care of everything else." Agents get real-time stats covering unique visitors, referrers, signups by referrer and conversion ratios.
Money and rules
The model is paid a net revenue share that rises with tenure, weekly, and the agency carries the chargebacks. In October 2026 the home page and the application page state a "60% net payout for live streaming, videos, and personal item sales (70% after 6 months)". The Our Models page header shows the later rate. The application page adds no chargebacks for models even in cases of customer card fraud, no hidden agent or studio fees, and no minimum payout requirement.
Payment is weekly by check, direct deposit, bank wire, Paxum or Skrill. The application form also offers Cosmo Payment, with check and direct deposit for the US only. It says direct deposit takes 5 days to appear, is not available for prepaid debit cards, and must be in the model's own name as on the ID. US-based models receive year-end 1099 earnings forms and sign a W-9.
To apply, a model must be a female, male or transgender person 18 or older with a valid driver's license, passport or other ID. The form asks for a picture of the ID's back side and a picture of the applicant holding the ID next to her face, a 2257 age-verification document, the model agreement and the W-9. The signup email must contain the real first and last name as on the photo ID, with no 69 or 420 and no random words. Models must work from their own location and receive payments under their own name. The form says the agency does not accept models from certain countries; the site does not publish which ones.
One clause in the model agreement matters before signing. It appoints the agency as the model's exclusive representative with Cam Media LTD, Streamates Ltd., Zmedianow LLC and Hearille Services Ltd., and after the agreement ends the model agrees not to work for those companies or their affiliates, directly or indirectly, for 1 year.
Earnings claims are the site's own. As of October 2026 it says its average webcam model makes $500 to $1,000 per week working 20 to 25 hours, and it prints higher weekly and yearly figures for its highest paid models. For agents the FAQ projects a weekly amount per active model, using the word "could" for larger totals.
Who it suits and who it does not
The agency suits a model who works alone and wants to sell by the minute: the rate is hers to set, the share is published, there is no payout minimum, and the payout list is broad, including Paxum and Skrill, which helps outside the US. Male, trans and couple models are named as wanted, and a model who needs to stay anonymous can skip the profile picture, hide her face and hide her country. An affiliate, or a model with friends in the business, can add the lifetime agent share, the VIP referral payment and the video commission.
The limits are plain. New models start at the lower share and wait 6 months for the higher one. The agency does not take models who work for a studio. The 1-year non-compete with the named companies after leaving is a real restriction for anyone planning to move on. The income figures are advertising, not a promise.
