What Gleese is

Gleese is a French-language libertine dating site for couples and singles, and its affiliate program pays bloggers, YouTubers, forum owners and other publishers with an adult audience for the members they send. The affiliate page, written in French, advertises two payments that stack: a share of each paid subscription and a flat amount for each free registration. The program runs on the Affilae platform, where an affiliate signs up and tracks results, and it can also be joined by email. The terms name the company behind the site as E.S.A., a French simplified joint-stock company registered in Paris. Gleese pays for referrals, so it is a route for people with an audience, not for performers.

The affiliate page calls its subscription share "le taux le plus élevé de la niche libertine" (the highest rate in the libertine niche) and the commission model "Le modèle le plus lucratif, et de loin" (by far the most lucrative). Both are the site's own claims.

How earning works here

The page sets out two payment models. The CPL (cost per lead) pays a flat amount for every visitor who creates an account through the affiliate link, even if that person never subscribes. The CPA (cost per acquisition) pays a share of the amount when one of those leads buys a paid subscription. In the page's words, "Les deux se cumulent" (the two add up). In October 2026 the page puts the CPL at 0,20 € per free registration and the CPA at 75% of the subscription.

The commission is a share of whichever plan the referred member buys. The affiliate page lists three plans, monthly, quarterly and annual, each with the affiliate's share printed beside it. As of October 2026 the plans run from 14,99 € a month to 89,99 € a year. The page also runs an earnings illustration built on an assumed mix of the three plans, and a calculator that takes a number of sales and free registrations per month. These are the site's arithmetic on its own assumptions; its FAQ answers the question of how much an affiliate can earn with "Ça dépend de ton trafic et de ta niche" (it depends on your traffic and your niche).

Joining takes four steps, as the page describes them: sign up through Affilae or by a short email, collect the unique affiliate link from the dashboard, place that one link everywhere (articles, videos, newsletters, posts, banners), and collect CPL and CPA commissions, tracked in real time in the dashboard. The FAQ adds that the dashboard tracks performance by source, so the same link in a blog post, a YouTube video and a newsletter can be compared, and that Gleese supplies ready-to-use visuals and banners.

The program is open to content creators and publishers with an adult or lifestyle audience. The page lists dating, sexuality and libertine lifestyle bloggers, YouTube creators on dating and wellbeing, influencers with an adult audience, operators of adult forums, classifieds and directories, podcasters on sexuality and couples, and dating newsletters. A website is not required: the FAQ says a YouTube account, a newsletter, an Instagram profile or a forum is enough.

The affiliate page also sets Gleese against Wyylde, which it calls the main competitor in the French libertine niche, using what it says are both programs' Affilae listings. On that page Gleese claims double Wyylde's CPL, a higher commission per sale and a cheaper monthly plan. That is Gleese's own comparison.

What an affiliate is selling is the member experience, which the site describes in detail. Members create a profile alone or as a couple, state their desires and limits, and use messaging, photos and search by affinity. The page credits conversion to active moderation and verified profiles, an "anti-relou" filter that keeps a conversation locked at the first message until the other member replies, live video, and physical events across France. Account creation is an email, a pseudonym and a password, with the rest of the profile filled in later. Members can certify a profile by sending a photo holding a sheet with the date, their pseudonym and the word Gleese, which moderation checks within 48 hours. Because Apple bars explicit content from its store, the FAQ explains that the app is installed from the mobile site by adding it to the home screen.

The affiliate page ties those features to the affiliate's income. It says active moderation and the quick removal of fake accounts are what make retention "et donc tes commissions" (and so your commissions), that live video makes members log in more often, stay longer and renew their subscription, and that parties and meetups in the big cities are an argument for subscribing. It also pitches the niche itself, saying a person who searches for a libertine dating site is already ready to sign up.

Businesses get a separate route. The partners page carries promo codes and offers from partners such as a sex-toy shop, a physical loveshop and themed love rooms in department 13 and the Festival de l'Érotisme d'Avignon, and invites other businesses to become partners and "gagnez des commissions sur chaque abonnement" (earn commissions on every subscription). The FAQ tells clubs, saunas, love rooms, loveshops and artists to get in touch for a professional offer.

Money and rules

The payout terms are in the affiliate FAQ. Commissions are calculated in real time in the Affilae affiliate dashboard and paid once a payment threshold is reached. Visits are tracked for 30 days after the click on the affiliate link. In October 2026 the FAQ sets that threshold at 100 €. The page does not name a payment method.

On content, the FAQ says promotional material must stay within the law, for an adult audience only and with no illicit content, and that affiliates otherwise have wide editorial freedom. The member terms require a pseudonym, a city, a date of birth and an email address to register, send a confirmation link, and offer a premium subscription for 1, 3 or 12 months. The site is reserved for adults, and the home page says age is verified at sign-up.

Promotion has to happen outside the member site. The terms of use strictly prohibit sharing external links, or any redirect that leads off the platform, in posts, descriptions, private messages, images or videos, and say the moderation system detects shared links and ties them to the profiles concerned, with preventive action or permanent suspension as possible outcomes. The terms also carry an article banning undeclared commercial activity, and say an event that looks like a disguised commercial activity can be removed without notice. Members have a referral scheme of their own: the FAQ says a member who gives a friend a referral code at sign-up earns a free month once the friend validates an email address and phone number, and the friend gets one too. That is a perk paid in membership time, not a cash commission.

One point needs care. The home page FAQ says there is a fully free period in which a member who verifies email and phone gets every premium function with no card, and the account FAQ speaks of a free trial month. The affiliate page does not say how the subscription commission works while access is free.

Who it suits and who it does not

The program suits a French-speaking publisher in the libertine, swinger or adult dating space: a niche blog, a YouTube channel, a podcast or a forum. Paying per free sign-up means even traffic that never subscribes earns something, and a 30-day tracking window plus per-source reporting helps a publisher see which channel works. The page itself says a well-targeted niche blog with 1 000 visitors a month can bring in several hundred euros a month; that is the site's claim, not a measured result.

It is a poor fit for an affiliate without French-language reach, since the site, the offers and the member pages are all in French. The payment threshold means a small publisher may wait a while for a first payment, and the free period makes the subscription commission something to confirm before building a campaign around it. A performer or creator looking for content income will find nothing here, because Gleese pays affiliates and partners, not members.
