What CamModelDirectory is
CamModelDirectory (CMD) is a model directory and pay-per-minute calling service for independent webcam models and web cam studios, run in English. Models, "girls or boys" in its own wording, list a profile and ads and charge clients for private live video calls, and they can also sell videos, photo sets and custom content through the site. CMD calls itself "the only Skype pay-per-minute technology provider", and its current homepage adds Teams, Discord and Telegram for live shows. Joining is presented with a "Join For Free" button, studios can register a studio account, and CMD handles the card payments and pays the model a commission, with withdrawals by Paxum, crypto, Yoursafe and regional bank transfer.
The pitch is aimed at a model who wants private paid calls outside a big cam site. In October 2026 the homepage headline is "Bring Your Fans. Keep 90%.", and the older model pages argue that the big-box chat sites charge very high fees and set strict rules for the chat room.
How earning works here
Private calls charged per minute. The core product is CMD's calling system. The site says models can use the CMD Skype plugin "for charging cam2cam live skype sex shows (pay per minute) in real time & secure", and the homepage says CMD helps creators "sell content and host live shows on Teams, Discord & Telegram." CMD says it uses only the Skype IDs that models and members have made public and does not use Skype credits or Skype account details for payments. Clients pay CMD by debit or credit card through a separate payment processor, and the funds credited to a member account are spent on calls with models.
How clients find a model. The member FAQ says viewers browse or search listings by keyword, category or listing date, and contact a model through the contact form on an ad or by Skype. They do not need to register to find a model, but must pay to get a show. CMD describes itself as "the largest directory of independent webcam models" and says it has "thousands of visitors each day"; those are the site's own claims. A model can place one listing in each category she qualifies for, and listings never expire. Each new listing appears on a What's New page and is tweeted to CMD's followers. The FAQ says ads can cover cam shows, videos, pictures, sexting, underwear and role play.
Ranking and featured spots. The FAQ explains that online models are always shown before offline ones, then ranked by sales over the previous seven days, and online status depends on being logged in to the CMD dashboard. A model can bid for one of 10 featured spots sold each week; a winning bid is deducted from her payout and puts her in the home-page slider and first in category listings and search. The FAQ says the site lists over 1500 models.
Videos, photos and customs. The how-it-works page says models can upload videos and sell them through the site, and "may also produce and sell custom videos for clients who desire something more personalized." Models can sell photo sets, and access to a Snapchat account. Video listings let clients buy and download the file, and a model can add a teaser video of two minutes or less. The member FAQ points a client who wants a recording of a show to arrange a custom video instead, since recording a show without the model's consent is called a copyright violation. The homepage groups this under "Sell Content", with videos, images and digital products.
Studios. The site has a "CMD is for Web Cam Studios" page with a link to register a studio account, its help center has a section for studios, and the SEPA withdrawal terms are written for "models and studios". On the Latin American bank transfer, studios that want to withdraw more than the maximum are told to contact CMD.
Verification and house rules. CMD says every model passes a 4-step check before advertising: a photo holding a sign with the date and the word "CamModelDirectory", a video call with a staff member, a check that profile photos match the model, and questions to rule out a recording. The FAQ stresses that CMD "will never ask any model to perform a show or provide nude photos as part of the verification process" and warns of scammers who do. Listings say all models were at least 18 when photographed and have verified their identity. Photos must be real photos of the model, with no exposed genitalia, anus or sex acts (bare chests and breasts are allowed), at least 480 x 480 pixels. Ads must be for legal goods and services, escort ads are banned, and links to other commercial webcam or video sales sites are not allowed.
Payments only through CMD. The FAQ is firm that every client found through a listing must pay through the CMD payment system; PayPal, Giftrocket, Amazon, Payoneer and other methods are not allowed for shows, and doing so can end the model's account.
Money and rules
Commission. The payout model is a revenue share: CMD takes the card payment and pays the model a commission on it. The site states two different shares. As of October 2026 the model FAQ says "You will earn a 75% commission on the first $500 of earnings during the month", says the rate rises to 80% on all earnings above that level, and adds that the rate resets at the beginning of each month. The newer homepage advertises a "90% Payout", so the share that binds a model is the one in the Model Agreement the site links.
Chargebacks. The FAQ says CMD "assumes all responsibility for chargebacks" but can terminate a model with a large number of them.
Schedule. The older model page says models are "paid weekly (one week in arrears) via Paxum or Direct Deposit." The 2026 withdrawal help article puts the time between request and payment for bank transfers at 7 days, with SEPA arriving in about 2 business days after issue, ACH in about 3, Yoursafe processed in 3 business days, and Paxum and crypto arriving instantly once processed.
Withdrawal methods. The help center table lists six rails by where the model lives: Paxum in a euro or US dollar wallet for non-US residents, Yoursafe worldwide, crypto worldwide (Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT and USDC), SEPA transfer in euros for EU residents, ACH or direct deposit for US residents, and a domestic bank transfer through Pandablue for Latin America, paid in local currency. In the table read in October 2026 the minimum request runs from $40 on Paxum to $200 on the Latin American transfer. Paxum in euros, Yoursafe and SEPA carry no transfer fee, the other rails carry a flat or percentage fee, and the crypto fee is a sliding percentage that falls as the requested amount rises, with the network fee left to the model. ACH and the Latin American transfer also have a maximum per request, and ACH needs the address registered with the bank, not a P.O. box.
The help center adds that Paxum "is a suitable payout method for all non-US countries" and that Yoursafe accounts can be opened in most countries, including the USA and Latin America. The trademark notice on the older pages names PVT CALL US LLP.
Who it suits and who it does not
It suits an independent model who already has regulars and wants per-minute private calls with card payments handled for her, and who would rather not move those clients to a big cam site. The published commission tiers, the chargeback cover and the range of payout methods are the draw. A model outside the US has Paxum, Yoursafe and four cryptocurrencies, and a studio has its own account type and help section.
Caveats. Reach depends on clients being willing to call through Skype, Teams, Discord or Telegram. Ranking favors models who are online and selling, so a quiet week pushes a profile down, and the featured spots cost a bid. The homepage headline and the FAQ tiers give different shares, so the rate in the Model Agreement is the one to read. Crypto fees are highest on the smallest withdrawals, and the Latin American bank transfer has the highest minimum of the six rails.
