What it is

Mynx is a paid-messaging and calling marketplace where fans text, talk and video chat with adult creators, and the creators are paid for it. Its model-side pitch is "Get paid to text, talk, and video chat with fans all over the world," under the headline "Say Hello TO your new cash inbox." The apply page limits entry: the FAQ answers "Who can join Mynx?" with female creators who have over 100k+ followers on X or Instagram and have shot with a mainstream adult production studio.

The fan side of the site is free to join, by email, and the model side runs through an application at mynx.co/apply that is reviewed before an account opens. The fan sign-up form carries its own link for performers, worded "Not a fan? Apply as a model", and the site's terms page describes the service as sexting, phone sex and video chat.

How earning works here

The creator's income comes from several routes, all listed on the apply page.

Messaging. The page says "Get paid every time you receive a message" and names the formats: text messages, audio messages, picture messages and video messages. The fan-facing home page lists the same set as direct messages, picture messages, video messages and voice messages, and adds that fans get "guaranteed responses or your money back." The site presents that guarantee as a promise to fans, so a creator who joins is joining a service that charges for replies and promises them. The fan sign-up page describes the exchange as two-way: fans chat directly with models and exchange pictures, videos and voice notes, so the inbox a creator works carries media from fans as well as her own. The apply page puts the same thing in one line, "Every message is money in your pocket."

Live calls. Under the heading "Get more personal on Live Calls," the creator sets her own rate per minute for phone calls and video calls, with a minimum call time. The FAQ answers "Do I have to take calls?" with no: the call features can be turned off for creators who are not comfortable taking live calls. The fan-side navigation separates "Phone Sex" from "Video Calls," so a creator who keeps calls on can be found under either.

Locked content. Creators can "sell locked content via messages, on your profile, or on the Explore feed."

Tips. The apply page lists "Earn extra money from Tips" as its own stream beside messages, calls and locked content.

Referrals. The page lists "Generate passive income from referrals" among the tools a creator gets, next to discovery and the mobile apps.

Discovery and tools. The site claims "Get discovered by millions of new potential fans," and the fan side shows how that works in practice: the home page surfaces "Online Now," "Trending Models," models available for phone sex, models available for video calls, a "New Models" tab and an Explore feed of trending posts. The New Models tab matters to a newly approved creator, because its page presents the newest models on the site to fans as a list of their own. Creators can also work from the iOS and Android apps. The site says it offers chargeback protection ("we protect your earnings against fraud"), a US-based support team staffed by people, 1-on-1 coaching with a Model Coach, live monthly webinars and access to mental health resources through Pineapple Support and Sunshine Wellness.

Money and rules

The payout model is pay per paid message, per call minute at a rate the creator sets, per locked item and per tip. The one earnings figure is the site's own claim: in October 2026 its FAQ answers "How much can I make on Mynx?" by saying top models earn over $50k+ per month. That is a marketing line about the top of the roster and says nothing about what a typical creator takes home.

The apply page does not state the revenue split, the payout minimum, the payout schedule or the payout methods.

Application rules are stated. The FAQ says applications are reviewed every day by real humans, and an approved applicant should hear back within 1-2 business days. The entry requirements are female creators with over 100k+ followers on X or Instagram who have shot with a mainstream adult production studio. A footnote after that answer begins with "Unless of course your content violates our Terms of Service or Code of Conduct," and points to an Acceptable Use Policy, so content rules sit in those documents and not on the apply page.

The footer links Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, CCPA notice and a "18 U.S.C. 2257 Record-Keeping Requirements Compliance Statement," so the site publishes a record-keeping compliance statement.

Who it suits and who it does not

Mynx suits a female performer who already has a following of 100k or more on X or Instagram and studio credits, and who wants a place where fans pay for direct contact. The model is built on conversation: replies to paid messages, voice and video time at a rate she sets. It fits someone who answers messages for a living more than someone who uploads clips and leaves.

The home page sells the fan side as "Sext and Video Chat with Real Porn Stars" and as a way to connect 1-on-1 with the top adult content creators in the world. The call settings give some control. Someone who is not comfortable on live calls can switch them off and still earn from messages, locked content and tips, and the site says so on its apply page.

It also suits a performer who wants help running the account. Under "Join a Platform that Cares," the site promises white-glove support from day one, whether a creator is new to Mynx or already established, and describes the monthly webinars as conference calls on a variety of topics. New to Mynx there means new to the platform; the FAQ still sets the follower and studio bar for who can apply.

The caveats are real. The entry bar excludes new creators, male creators and anyone without studio credits, by the wording of the FAQ. The platform's cut and the payout rails are not on the apply page, which matters for a creator outside the US or one who needs a specific method. The site's top-earner claim describes the top of the roster and gives a newcomer no way to estimate her own result. A paid-reply guarantee to fans also puts a response obligation on the creator's side.
