What Onyx Studio is
Onyx Studio is a UK webcam model agency, described on its own pages as female owned and managed, that recruits women to work as webcam performers from home and pays them through an agency payroll. It is aimed at UK-resident adults: the join form asks applicants to confirm they are over 18 and a resident of the UK. Joining costs nothing, and the FAQ says so directly: "There are no start up fees for joining Onyx Studio Models."
The agency says it was founded in 2025 and that its management team has "20+ years" of experience in the online adult entertainment industry. It gives a Leeds address, New Station Street, and can be reached by email or WhatsApp. Its mission statement is to help "ordinary women" improve their finances, and it sells that mainly on three points: free training, a personal mentor, and daily pay. It is an agency that sits between a new model and the cam site she streams on, aimed at women starting out, and it leads with speed of payment.
How earning works here
The earner is a webcam model who streams live to paying clients. The site does not name the cam platform its models stream on, and the FAQ refers only to "the site we stream through". What the FAQ does describe is the work itself. Some clients, the FAQ says, want to hear or explore a fantasy, while others are lonely and simply want to chat. It claims that on the site they stream through nearly every client is extremely respectful, and says that the model is in control at all times, that she does not have to do anything she doesn't want to do, and that she can end the call at any point.
The agency's offer is mostly support around that work. The home page lists daily and on demand pay, no joining fee, quick and easy training, 24/7 support, quick and easy sign up, a free welcome pack, flexible working and work from anywhere. The join page describes "free comprehensive training" and says hours bend around the model's life. The About section says mentors give personalized support to help a new model get set up and earning, and that the management team are active cam girls themselves, with her at every step. It says the models it lists look different from each other, and it names shapes, sizes and ethnicities as part of that range. It also describes a diverse community of women, from stay-at-home mothers supporting a family to students supporting their education, and it says it can help anyone over the age of 18.
A model needs very little to begin. The FAQ answer to what you need to get started is a Wi-Fi connection. It recommends a laptop with a webcam because streaming is easier functionally, and adds that streaming from a mobile phone is also possible. For a first stream, the FAQ suggests anything comfortable, from lingerie to gym clothes, and it says to "ensure you are not showing any nudity to begin with".
On privacy, the FAQ encourages a fake name, a fake online persona and a fake location. It says it is incredibly rare to be recognized in real life from cam, then adds that "there is of course a risk". A model can hide her face. The agency is frank that, in its experience, models who hide their face tend not to make as much money as those who show theirs, because clients want a one-to-one personal experience. It says models who show their face retain regular clients and receive more of the clients who just want a chat. For models who would rather cover up, it suggests a lacy or kinky mask, or keeping the face out of the stream. This is the agency's own account, given without figures.
The only route into the business is the application. Applicants complete the form on the Join as a Webcam Model page, with name, email and mobile, or message the team on WhatsApp quoting "OS". The page says all enquiries are answered within 24 hours.
Fast payouts is the other category this agency sits in, and its entire case there is the payroll. The home page says the payroll department offers daily pay and that a new model "could see your first payment hit your bank account as soon as tomorrow". It repeats "Sign up now - your first payday could be tomorrow." Those are the site's claims about timing, and the home page pairs daily pay with on demand pay in its list of benefits.
Money and rules
The payment terms on the FAQ are the firmest facts the site gives. "We offer daily pay, 365 days a year!" A model who prefers a weekly or monthly schedule can have that arranged instead. Anyone taking part in the 2 week trial is paid at the end of the trial, and if she decides to continue she is switched to the daily payroll. The home page speaks of payment reaching a model's bank account, and that is the only payout rail the site mentions.
The site does not publish the share of earnings a model keeps or the agency's commission.
The stated rules are short. Applicants must be over 18 and resident in the UK, and the join form asks them to confirm both. The agency says joining costs nothing and that it offers a free welcome pack. On content, the FAQ says nudity is not needed to start, models control what they do, and a model may end a call at any point. The home page says the training is free. The FAQ describes the money side in general terms only, calling the business "so lucrative". That is a marketing statement, and the site quotes no income numbers.
Who it suits and who it does not
Onyx Studio fits a woman living in the UK who has never webcammed and wants someone to explain the process, with a mentor from the same industry and no money up front. The faceless option, the flexible hours, and the stay-at-home parent and student examples the agency uses all point at people fitting camming around other commitments. The 2 week trial and the choice of daily, weekly or monthly pay suit a model who wants to test the work before committing to a routine.
It is a narrow fit in other ways. The offer is for UK-resident women, so anyone living outside the UK is excluded by the form's own residence question, and the site addresses women throughout. A model who wants a stated revenue split or a published payout threshold before applying will not find either on the site. The agency itself says faceless models tend to earn less than those who show their face, which matters to anyone whose main reason for choosing camming is strict anonymity.
The agency is also young. It says it was founded in 2025, so its track record is the team's own stated experience. The testimonial-style claim on the home page, that "thousands of models" are building financial freedom, is the site's own marketing.
