What it is
East Coast Talents, shortened to ECT, is an adult talent agency for performers, influencers and models, with a roster of both female and male talent. It describes itself as "a fully licensed and bonded talent agency with serving LA and Florida," and its home page lists Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Miami as its locations. A performer earns here through film bookings that the agency finds and negotiates, not through a platform that pays out sales. The site publishes no commission and no fee to join.
The home page calls ECT an "Adult Talent Agency for Pornstars, Influencers and Models" that will "get you started, achieve success and grow your career in the adult film and modeling industry." Its tagline reads "Trusted talent. Trusted bookings. Twenty years running," and the home page says the agency has been "Operating for over two decades as an elite level porn agent." The header of the roster and About pages reads "Trusted Bookings Since 2012," so the site gives two different starting points for its track record.
How earning works here
An agency is not a platform with a payout dashboard. A performer is booked for paid shoots by producers, and the agency sits in the middle, finding the work and negotiating the rate. The home page splits what ECT does into three services. Agency Services are "Professional, connected and driven at helping you succeed and achieve." Booking Services offer "Two decades of experience, extensive contacts and attention to your needs." Management is "Services to help you build a fan base, capitalize and cash in." The About page puts the focus in one line: "Adult Talent Management and Booking is our focus," and says the agency works with talent "to help build your brand and develop your fan base by finding top name, quality bookings," which it says pay top rates.
The About page frames ECT's approach under the heading "Pornstars START here," with four points.
- Talent Focused. The agency says it has worked with a lot of brand new talent and so focuses on "what gets them noticed at the start."
- Negotiators. "Too many agents take the first offer without even trying to negotiate on your behalf. We understand what your value is as a new performer."
- Experience. It claims "Over a two decades in the Adult Entertainment Industry" and says top companies "have come to rely on us for talent."
- Exposure. It says its talent gets "more high profile offers, box covers and features" than new talent with competing agencies, and that this means "more money, better opportunities and a future you can take control of."
The agency states a philosophy of "Quality over Quantity," which it says "is what keeps our talent happy, in demand and well paid." It compares itself with other agencies: "On average our talent makes more and works less than similar agencies that book you as often and for whatever work they can find you." Another line says new talent working with ECT ends up on "more box covers and gets more press consistently than any other agency." The home page adds that it has "contacts to get you working immediately" with top production companies and the highest paying gigs. All of these are the agency's own marketing claims, made without figures.
The home page also makes a pitch about the value of film work to a performer's wider career: "No matter your career path, adult films are the fastest way to monetize yourself and build name recognition." That is how the agency ties studio bookings to the fan base its Management service promises to help build, so a performer with their own fan pages is part of the audience it is speaking to.
The roster is how producers find talent and how a performer is presented. The Talent Roster page can be viewed as all talent, Female or Male, and lists each performer with an availability status. The statuses that appear are Available, Call For Availability and Not Available, and one entry reads "Vixen Exclusive Contract Star," so the roster also shows when a performer is under an exclusive studio contract. Many entries carry dated travel windows, each naming the days a performer will be in LA or in LA and LV, which tells producers when that performer can be booked in Los Angeles or Las Vegas. The home page features a "New Talent Added to ECT" strip and an "Available Female Talent" strip in the same format, so newly signed performers get front-page placement.
The Miami page splits talent into two lists. "Miami Based Talent" carries the instruction "contact about booking them for Miami productions." A second list, "Talent Traveling To Miami," is for performers visiting the city with their dates; at the moment it reads "No Talent is currently listed as Traveling to this location." A performer who lives in Miami, or who travels there, can be posted for productions in that city as well as in LA and Las Vegas.
Beyond those cities, the About page says that "In addition to bookings in Miami and Los Angeles, we have contacts with dozens of quality producers, photographers, and companies throughout the East Coast and Midwest." It adds, "Don't leave money on the table by focusing on Miami or LA, Adult Entertainment is global and is being shot in most major cities everywhere." The agency offers "several options for prospective models and established adult talent," and says it will handle a performer's booking "on a temporary basis, or long term." That gives an established performer the option of short-term booking help rather than a full management arrangement.
Getting onto the roster starts with an application. The roster page says "Fill out an application to get started," the menu has a Get Started In Porn section, and the Miami page carries an Apply Now button under the heading "Need Talent Representation?"
Money and rules
The site publishes no commission percentage, booking rate, joining fee or payment schedule. The money statements on the pages are the agency's comparative claims above, that its talent "makes more and works less" than at similar agencies and that its bookings pay top rates, with no numbers given.
The rules and credentials the pages state:
- The footer carries "Licensed and Bonded Agency TA-LR-1000685444," a license number a performer can match against any contract.
- It links "18 USC 2257 Records Compliance," the federal record-keeping notice that adult producers publish.
- It states "We are not an escort or private entertainment service," which separates the agency's film and modeling bookings from escort work.
Who it suits and who it does not
ECT suits a new performer who wants an agent to handle introductions and negotiate first bookings. The agency says plainly that it focuses on new talent, it names negotiation as its selling point, and new signings get placement on the home page. Male performers have their own Male Talent section of the roster and are booked through the same service. It suits performers who can work in Los Angeles, Las Vegas or Miami, since the roster's travel windows and the Miami page revolve around those cities, and an established performer who only wants short-term booking help has that option too.
It is a weaker fit for someone who wants to compare terms before talking to anyone, because no commission, rate or fee is published. It is not a place to sell subscriptions or clips: its Management service talks about building a fan base, but the pages describe no selling tools. A performer far from its three cities has the agency's word that it has contacts across the East Coast and Midwest, without detail on how bookings there work. The two track-record lines, "Twenty years running" and "Since 2012," do not match, which is worth noting next to the license number printed in the footer.
