What it is

CB Cam Insights is an analytics tool for Chaturbate performers and for studios that run several Chaturbate models. It is not a cam site and it pays nobody. A performer signs up, the service reads their Chaturbate activity, and the dashboard turns it into session breakdowns, tipper histories and earnings reports. There is a free tier that needs only an email address, and the full session analysis requires an active subscription. Studio accounts cover several models. The documentation does not publish a price for any paid level.

Its docs home page promises "zero setup": no change to the Chaturbate setup or routine is needed, because the service turns itself on and the data appears. Everything in the documentation is about Chaturbate, with tokens, Chaturbate rankings and the Chaturbate performer name as the unit of identity. It is a tool for one platform, not a general cam dashboard.

How earning works

The performer earns on Chaturbate as usual. What CB Cam Insights adds is a record of how the money arrived, so that decisions about when to broadcast and what to do on cam can be made from data rather than memory.

The overview dashboard shows the main numbers for a cam business: number of cam sessions, cam duration, average number of viewers, tokens earned, income and income per hour. It displays them for common periods (7, 14 and 30 days, this month and last month) and compares each with the previous period, so a performer can see whether the trend is up or down.

Each broadcast gets a detailed breakdown. The docs describe analyzing a session in detail: when and how tokens were earned, how the audience changed over time and other significant events. The FAQ adds that a distribution view shows which hashtags users used to find a show, with the advice to keep the most used tags and experiment with less frequent ones. Shows can be labeled with custom tags, such as what type of show was done or what the performer wore, and the list can then be filtered by tag. The FAQ's own example is checking whether tips rise when a particular outfit is worn. A full text editor stores notes with each session. On hashtags more broadly, the FAQ says the service shows the most popular tags by performer picks and flags potentially underrated tags where the ratio of users to cams is very high.

Tips get their own section. The tools there include:

  • A list of top tippers that can be expanded into a full table of all tippers from highest to lowest and exported as a CSV file.
  • A tip menu editor, where entries with a name and a token amount are added, changed or deleted. Any tip that matches a menu amount is counted in the menu stats, which can be charted by count or by tokens per day.
  • Tipper search, which finds anyone who ever tipped and shows their tip distribution over time, along with a search through tipper notes. Existing notes can be imported from Chaturbate through the CB Cam Insights Chrome extension.
  • A tip report for each week, month or all-time, showing top tippers, the top tip and the split between new and returning tippers.
  • Built-in buttons to call out top tippers for a show, the current month or the last month on Twitter, instead of working it out from Chaturbate's token CSV export.

Purchases are tracked too. The FAQ says all purchases made in the room, such as video sales or Fan Club memberships, are recorded, listed per session with earnings, and summed over time in a purchase section, so a performer can see which kinds of videos sell and shoot more of them.

The schedule section has a heatmap of the performer's broadcast times. A separate earnings heatmap shows the time slots with the most tokens earned or the highest hourly income, over a configurable date range. The docs add a useful caution: slots with the most tokens tend to cluster where the performer broadcasts most, so hourly income is the better indicator of earning potential because it accounts for time online. The same section charts Chaturbate performers by region over time and Chaturbate traffic in viewers and cams. Times follow the browser's time zone. The FAQ adds that the traffic chart goes back up to 4 weeks, with markers for the performer's own shows, so a show can be timed to predictable traffic patterns such as an early-evening spike in Eastern time. Long-term trends cover progress on Chaturbate rankings, followers and viewers across weeks and months.

Coverage depends on setup, which the docs spell out. By default the service tracks earnings from open cam room purchases and tips, and that does not include offline tips or tips made during a private show. Configuring a Chaturbate Events Token, which the docs call Chaturbate's official API for third parties, lets the service track tips and purchases during privates and offline time as well. The Chrome extension also tracks tips in private shows, but not offline tips and purchases. For gaps, the token upload feature accepts a performer's token transaction history from Chaturbate, which also backfills tips and purchases from before joining.

Money and rules

CB Cam Insights does not handle a performer's money, so there is no payout share or threshold to speak of. The free tier, according to the FAQ, gives the trend charts for Chaturbate ranking, viewers, followers and follower growth ranking over a full 4 months, which the FAQ contrasts with the 30 days it says CB Explorer offers. Session analysis needs an active subscription: the FAQ explains that a new subscriber's session dashboard starts empty and fills as they broadcast, that trend data with daily ranking, viewership and follower changes can take up to 24 hours to backfill after the room name is configured, and that comparisons on the overview dashboard become useful after a couple of weeks.

Studio accounts carry the rules that matter. Studio account users get an overview of all configured models with their cam time and income for a chosen period, plus the studio's aggregate cam time, income, tip tokens, purchase tokens and private show tokens. The overview exports all models' data to CSV. Charts compare the top 5, 10 or 20 models by cam time and earnings, and stacked bar charts show each model's contribution, with filters to single out a few models. Studio owners can share full access with their models through an access token on the studio account. That token can be configured on another account only if the account uses the same Chaturbate performer name.

On data, the docs say token upload data feeds cam session deep dives, top tippers and tipper details, purchase details and the income shown on the overview dashboard and long-term earnings.

Who it suits and who it does not

It suits a Chaturbate performer who wants to treat a broadcast schedule as something to test: which days and hours pay, which show types and tags correlate with tips, how many followers each session brings. It suits a performer who keeps notes on regulars and wants them searchable. It suits a studio that runs several Chaturbate models and wants one view of each person's cam time and income, with a CSV export.

The FAQ itself warns that many core features need a starter audience to be useful, and that a performer who is just starting out gets the schedule and hashtag help but not the full benefit. It does not suit anyone who works on other cam platforms, because the documentation is entirely about Chaturbate. Complete numbers require extra steps: without the Events Token or the extension, private-show and offline tips are missing, and a token history upload may still be needed to fix a missed tip. The service reports on income but does not move it, so it does nothing for payouts.
