What Amateur.tv is

Amateur.tv is a live cam site that recruits models through its own model page, models.amateur.tv, and pays them for tips and private shows bought with coins. The model page names the operator in its footer as "Tech 555, Inc., a Nevada Corporation, USA." Creating a model account is free: a username, an email address and a password, and the page says the process "toma menos de 5 minutos" (takes less than 5 minutes), with "Sin experiencia necesaria" (no experience needed). The recruiting page is written in Spanish with an English option, and the public site filters shows by Spanish, English, French and Portuguese, with Italian on the English-language version.

The pitch to the earner leads with the money: a headline that most of the revenue goes to the model, "Pagos diarios" (daily payments) and a list of payout methods that includes Paxum, SEPA transfer and cryptocurrency. The site sells itself to viewers as amateur shows, and a viewer page describes its shows as fully amateur.

How earning works

The model page lists the ways to earn under "Múltiples formas de monetizar tu talento" (multiple ways to monetize your talent): tips (Propinas), Vibralush, challenges (Retos), bots and a tip menu. A side panel on the same page adds that there are "18 maneras de ganar dinero" (18 ways to earn money), but it does not list all 18. Streaming works from a browser, from OBS or from a phone: "Emite usando tu navegador, OBS o móvil."

Private shows come in three formats, described on the model page as private broadcasts "para un solo usuario o para un grupo restringido de usuarios" (for a single user or a restricted group of users):

  • Privado: private audio and video, with spies allowed (other viewers can watch in).
  • Exclusivo: private audio and video, no spies, and a two-way video call (c2c).
  • Lite: private audio and video, no spies, c2c, and described as "Económico," the budget option.

The page tells the model to pick the format that suits them. It does not give a per-minute price for each format.

Promotions and ranking. The model page runs special promotions "dos veces por semana" (twice a week) and a monthly ranking. In October 2026 the model page says the prizes total $650,000 a year, the larger part for the promotions and the rest for the ranking. It says models can "Multiplica tus ganancias ascendiendo en los rankings" (multiply your earnings by climbing the rankings). These are the site's own figures for its prize pools, not a model's income.

Getting found. The site's answer to the cold-start problem is a promotion window: "2 semanas de impulso del tráfico para nuevas modelos" (2 weeks of traffic boost for new models). The model page also says "Nos encargamos de hacerte destacar" (we take care of making you stand out), lists "Marketing, Promoción incluida" (promotion included) and "24/7, Visibilidad constante," and says models grow faster through its search and recommendation system. It claims "50 millones de visitantes al mes" (50 million visitors a month) and calls itself the "Plataforma con más crecimiento" (the fastest-growing platform). These are the site's claims.

A model is found through the front page, which is a live directory with tabs for Following, Trending, Highlighted, Most views, Couples, New, Private Shows and Toys. Viewers can filter by gender (women, men, couples and trans), by age bracket from 18 to 22 up to 40 and over, and by language. Room listings carry a short title and tags such as goal, multigoal and lovense, which shows that tip goals and connected toys are a normal part of shows here. Inside a room, viewers can follow a model, rate the show, give coins and play games.

The site also runs a blog on its own domain. Two of its posts present Amateur.tv as an alternative to other cam sites, and one says Amateur.tv "allows users to purchase tokens to interact with live models" and has "models from many countries, which means you can enter at any time of the day."

Money and rules

Models are paid a share of the coins viewers spend on tips and private shows, and the model page says that share is paid out daily.

  • Payments: the page lists "Pagos diarios" (daily payments).
  • Payout methods: Paxum, Yoursafe, Cosmo Payment, SEPA transfer, international transfer and cryptocurrency, under "¿Cómo cobrarás?" (how will you get paid).
  • Support and protection: "Soporte 24/7 y protección DMCA" (24/7 support and DMCA protection).
  • Threshold: the model page does not state a minimum payout.

The split itself is shown as a worked example of where a viewer's coin purchase goes. As read in October 2026, the page first takes out 20% "Invertidos para conseguir nuevos usuarios" (spent on acquiring new users) and 15% "Cargos de gestión y tasas" (management charges and fees). What is left is then divided three ways: a part "Repartido a las modelos en promos y recompensas" (shared among models as promotions and rewards), a part for Amateur.tv, and 81% as "Tu parte" (your share). The headline over it reads "Más del 90% de los ingresos son para ti" (more than 90% of the revenue is yours). In the page's own example, then, the model's share is a share of what is left after acquisition costs and fees, not of what the viewer paid. The same page claims "Gana un 20% más que en otras plataformas" (earn 20% more than on other platforms), without naming the platforms.

The chat rules shown in every room are specific. "Do not insist by asking for more, give coins or use the games." "Tips are voluntary and non-refundable." "Be respectful or we will suspend your account, we supervise the chats." "Advertising email, Twitter, phone, Skype, Facebook, services or websites is prohibited." The rules also say no one under 18 is admitted. For a model who sends fans to an outside link, that no-advertising rule matters, since the chat is where such a link would go.

The model page footer links a legal notice and terms of use, privacy, cookies, an "18 U.S.C. 2257 Record Keeping" notice and a "Complaint Policy and Procedures," and registering means accepting the terms of use and the privacy policy.

Who it suits and who it does not

Amateur.tv suits a model who wants a published split and frequent payouts before signing up: the page shows its revenue breakdown in dollars and lists daily payments. It suits a model outside the US who needs Paxum, Cosmo Payment, a SEPA transfer or crypto rather than a US bank. A new model with no audience gets a 2-week traffic boost, and the promotions twice a week and the monthly ranking give an active model extra chances at prize money. A Spanish speaker is at home here, since the recruiting page is in Spanish and Spanish is the first language in the filters, and a model who streams from a phone or already uses OBS can keep that setup. Men, couples and trans models all have their own filter.

It suits less well a professional performer or studio that wants to present itself as such, because the site markets amateur shows. The headline share needs reading against the worked example: the model's part is taken after user acquisition and fees have come off the viewer's spend. And the no-advertising chat rule limits how far a model can use a show to send fans to other platforms.
