What SoulCams is
SoulCams is a live webcam community for adult audiences, and it pays models and studios who stream on it. Its recruiting page is in English, and it is built around token tips and per-minute private shows. A model applies for a Model or Studio account on top of a normal user account. The page opens with "Create your account in 2 easy steps and start making money today!", which is the site's own pitch, and the steps it lists are "Create a User account" and "Apply for a Model or Studio account".
Everyone on the platform must be 18 or older: "You must be 18 years or older to use our services." Watching live streams is free, and the page says that "while the service is free, viewers may buy tokens and give them to content creators in a form of donations". That is the economy a model works in. The page names no joining fee for a model account.
How earning works here
Private shows priced by the minute. The help center explains that a model sets her own per-minute token price for each private type. The types it names are the Group Private and the 1on1 Private. The page puts it this way: "the per-minute token price you set will be your commission (income)". The platform then pays at a fixed rate per token, and the rate is higher on members the model brought in herself. In October 2026 the article states it this way: "The basic commission is 50% (1 token = 0,05 USD), while you get 70% (1 token = 0,07 USD) after referred members' spending in your room."
The page gives a worked example for a model with a referred member, multiplying her per-minute token price by the higher per-token rate. The article also publishes a chart of per-minute income at each token price, with one column for spending by non-referred members and one for referred members. The chart is simply the token price multiplied by the per-token rate, and a model sets her own price in her account under Settings / Prices, separately for each private type.
The referral system. Because the higher rate applies to members the model referred, bringing her own audience raises her rate. The help center lists a "Referral system" article for models, and the support form has an "Affiliate Program" topic. The affiliate program's commission terms are not set out in the help articles.
Tips and gifts. The help center's hot topics list "What are the Tips and Gifts?", "What is a Tip Goal?" and virtual gifts. SoulCams also supports Lovense interactive toys: on the recruiting page, tips from viewers can control the host's toy, and cam to cam is available during private shows.
Earning while offline. A model can earn without being on camera. The help center says "You can receive offline tips directly from your viewers and loyal members, or they can purchase videos or premium photo albums that you can upload to Soulcams directly." The recruiting page adds that user-submitted videos and photos are available either free or as paid content.
Advice on how top earners work. The help center's article on how to be more successful says its methods "are used by most of our top-earning models". They include being kind and friendly in free chat, not making users wait in a private show, building a group of regular viewers, avoiding pressure on viewers to go private, adjusting the price when a visitor asks for something more than planned, looking into the camera so each member feels eye contact, and varying appearance. The article also asks for regular hours, on the grounds that models with a schedule attract more returning members and private shows, and notes that members who added a model as a favorite get an email when she goes live. It tells a model never to leave an empty camera, and to go offline or use the break function instead. Between streams it suggests a detailed bio and photo albums, which members can see while she is offline, daily messages through the built-in messaging system, and notes on each member that come up again when the username is searched. It is the site's guidance, not a promise of income.
Studios and contests. The help center has a separate "I am a Studio" section covering general information, model management, and periods, payout dates, payment methods and taxation, plus a note for studios migrated from the "old SoulCams". The recruiting page also mentions model contests viewers can support.
Money and rules
Payout methods. The help center's payment articles cover getting paid through Cosmo Payment, Paxum, PayPal, Yoursafe and wire transfer, and the model section has a "Periods, Payout dates, Payment methods, Taxation" category plus articles on DAC7 and on chargeback protection. The Cosmo Payment article sets out that route step by step. Cosmo Payment is a prepaid card: it works much like a debit card for purchases and ATM withdrawals, and while the physical card is on its way the model gets a virtual card for online purchases. The model needs an active Cosmo Payment account and the 9 or 10 digit SAN number issued when she opens it, which she enters on the Payout tab of her payment settings. The article adds that once a payout is deposited into the Cosmo Payment account, the company is no longer liable for those funds. In October 2026 it states the fee plainly: "CosmoPayment transfers are sent in USD and have a fee of $4 that will be deducted from the final amount sent to you."
Not stated. The site does not publish a minimum payout or a studio revenue split in these articles. The two per-token rates above are the only commission figures.
Viewer billing. Viewers' purchases are billed through SegPay, whose billing page covers card charges, PayPal and crypto transactions. That page is for buyers and is not a payout channel for models.
Privacy and rules. The model section lists a privacy article covering privacy settings and "country and state bans". Another article covers rules, copyright and legal topics, and another covers trolls and harassing visitors, with banning and reporting. Between them, a model can block viewers from chosen countries and states and ban or report harassing visitors.
A forum for models. The help center also describes WeCamgirls, a community forum for people in the adult industry where customers cannot see posts. The article says it was launched in March 2012 and that it received the award for best webcam community at the LiveCamAwards 8 times of the 10 shows held from 2015 to 2024. It does not say SoulCams owns it.
Who it suits and who it does not
SoulCams suits a model who wants to set her own price per minute and see the exact income at each price. The chart removes guesswork on the private show. It suits a model who can bring her own followers, because the same token pays the higher rate when the member is one she referred. It suits a model who sells videos and photo albums for the times she is offline, and one who wants toy-controlled tipping through Lovense. A studio has its own section and can ask about payout dates and taxation in the help center.
The caveats are concrete. Cosmo Payment takes a flat fee from each transfer, which bites hardest on small withdrawals, and the fees on the other methods are not given in the articles. Under the site's terms, spending by members the site brings pays the basic rate, and only members the model referred pay the higher one. The site gives no discovery figures, so a new model builds regulars through free chat, as its own advice says.
