What the business is

LiveSexCalls is a British callback phone sex line that recruits women as self-employed operators working from home. Its recruitment page, headed "Phone Sex Job Vacancies", introduces the company as "Britain’s longest standing chat-line Company having opened our doors in May 1991", and the footer of the home page adds that it has been "Britain's number 1 phone sex service provider for over 25 years". Those are the company's descriptions of itself. The pay model is a per-minute rate on talk time, with one rate for callback calls and a higher one for the company's Premium Rate lines. Applicants must be over 18 and UK residents, and proof of both is asked for before any offer is made. They need a mobile phone and wifi, and no experience. The work is on agreed shifts rather than log-on-when-you-like.

The operating company is named in the footer as Exprom ltd trading as LiveSexCalls.co.uk on the recruitment and terms pages, and as ESP Promotions Ltd trading as LiveSexCalls.co.uk on the home page. The recruitment page also calls the service the Pleasuredome, which it says "delivers an exceptional adult chat-line service".

How earning works here

The business runs a "call back" model, and that model shapes the operator's job. On the customer side, the home page sets out the steps: a caller picks a woman from the "Our Girls" list on the site, rings the company's number and says which woman he wants, and "The girl of your choice will call you straight back from her home." The pitch to callers is privacy: "WE call YOU", so "NO awkward items on your phone bill" and "NO premium rate charges", with calls "Fully Live" and "no recordings". The site also has a "Book Online" section and a "Your Fantasies" section for callers.

For the operator, that means returning calls from home. The caller names her to the company, and she rings him back for a 1 to 1 conversation. The recruitment criteria ask for a mobile phone and wifi, and that is the whole equipment list. Customers find operators through the company's own list of women, and the company's number is the one a caller dials, so the advertising and the first contact sit with the company and the conversation sits with the operator. Every call is a live one: the customer pages promise there are no recordings, so the service an operator is hired to give is real-time talk for the length of the call.

Pay is per minute of talk time, so an operator earns while a call is in progress. The recruitment page splits the work in two: "call backs", which carry the advertised per-minute ceiling, and the company's Premium Rate lines, where it says operators earn "even more". The per-minute figure and the hourly figure in the page's headline are both worded "up to", which makes them ceilings in the company's advertising, not a guaranteed rate.

Income grows with hours and with regulars. "The more you work, the more you make!" the page says, and it ties the self-employed arrangement to repeat business: operators "will be able to watch your money grow along with your returning customer base." Because callers ask for a woman by name from the list, a caller who liked a conversation can ask for the same operator again. The home page says its customers "return again and again to this service" and puts that down to callers being able to ask for exactly the fantasy they want.

The hours are set by rota. The recruitment page says "The Pleasuredome is open 7 days a week and we need Ladies to work different shifts throughout these days, evenings and nights." Operators "will be asked to commit to agreed shifts" and are "expected to be available during these times unless you have informed us otherwise". The customer pages advertise calls from anywhere in the world, and the terms page adds "24 hours", while the footer says all the women are UK based. For an operator, the practical result is that evening, night and weekend shifts exist, and that she is expected to be reachable for callbacks throughout a shift she has agreed to.

The work itself is described from the caller's side. The home page calls the service "Completely uncensored", says the women "cannot be shocked" and that the company caters "for ALL fantasies", and it lists the kinds of requests callers bring: dominant and submissive role-play, mature women, the girl next door, a friend's wife, rubber and latex, watersports, cuckolding. Callers are told not to be shy about asking for precisely what they want. An applicant can read that list as the range of calls the company expects its operators to handle. The footer's "Satisfaction Guaranteed" is a promise made to callers, and it is the operator who has to deliver it.

The recruitment page sets the one limit it puts in writing: "We will not allow our operators to engage in any conversation that is illegal." Within that limit the caller chooses the subject.

The qualities wanted are short: "No experience necessary but you will need to be confident and chatty and imaginative." The company's stated aim is that its operators "maintain these high standards" for its clientele through sex chat. No training program is described on the recruitment page; the page hires on personality and availability.

Money and rules

The terms that hold are these. The arrangement is self-employment: "You will join us on a ‘self-employed’ basis". Pay is by the minute of talk time, with a higher rate on Premium Rate lines than on call backs. Shifts are agreed in advance. In October 2026 the recruitment page advertises "up to 21p a minute talk time" on call backs and a headline of "up to £10 an hour from home". The site does not publish when or how operators are paid.

The criteria are 4 lines: over 18 and a UK resident, with "Proof of both will be required before employment is offered"; a mobile phone and wifi; confidence and imagination in place of experience; and a commitment to agreed shifts. The conduct rule is the bar on illegal conversation. Applicants apply by phone, on the number given at the foot of the recruitment page, rather than through an online form.

Who it suits and who it does not

This suits a woman over 18 living in the UK who wants voice-only adult work from home on a mobile phone, prefers a fixed rota to an open log-on, and is comfortable with the wide range of requests the company advertises to callers. The company handles the advertising and takes the caller's request, and the named-woman list gives her a way to build regular callers. The proof-of-age and proof-of-residence step before any offer is a clear entry rule, and the self-employed basis means her income tracks the minutes she talks.

The limits are real. The role is closed to anyone outside the UK, and the recruitment page addresses women only. The pay is published as ceilings, with the Premium Rate figure left out. Shifts are a commitment, so this is less flexible than lines where operators log on at will. And as a callback service, the operator is the one who places the call, from her own home, for every booking in her shift.
