What the business is
Spank the Donkey is a UK phone sex line that recruits women to take live calls. It is run by Exclusive Promotions, which the FAQ describes as "a UK based company", and the footer of every page credits Exclusive Promotions Ltd. The earning route is a phone operator job. The company runs premium-rate numbers, callers pay through their phone bill, and the women who answer are recruited by the company itself. The recruitment page says "We are always looking for girls and women age 18-65", and it gives a phone number and a vacancies email address for anyone who is interested or wants more information. Pay terms come from that call or email, since the site carries no rate card for operators. So this is a UK listing with an open door for applicants, a wide age band, and a first step that is a conversation instead of an online form.
How earning works here
The operator's job is live one-to-one talk on a premium-rate line. The FAQ opens with "We are all about live-call" phone sex, and when it answers whether the women are really live it says "We have a large selection of girls constantly on call waiting for you". It adds that some of them are "housewives in their own homes". The home page puts it as "Our girls are live right now in their homes in the UK". Read from the operator's side, the work is taking calls at home on the company's lines.
Calls arrive through numbered lines, each tied to a category. In October 2026 the home page gives every category its own premium-rate number, and each one carries the same notice, "Calls will cost 60p/min + your phone companies access charge". The categories include mature, lesbian, anal, submissive, domination, girlfriend chat and "Fetish & Bizarre". A caller picks the line that matches what he wants, so the woman who answers is expected to talk on that theme. The fetish line is where this listing meets fetish work, and it is priced like every other line on the page.
There is a second route for requests that fit no category. The home page tells callers with a "private fantasy" or "special interest" to speak to "one of our special call arrangers" when they are "given the option to do so at the end of the recordings". The site says the arrangers "can find a girl who will deliver exactly what you want, no matter how unusual, within seconds!". For an operator, that describes a routing desk: a caller states a request, and the arranger connects him to a woman who will take it. Work reaches her through the company's numbers and its arrangers, so the job as described does not rest on an operator advertising herself or bringing her own callers.
A third route is card payment. The payment page is written for callers outside the UK and for those who prefer a credit or debit card to their phone bill. They ring a separate office number, staff "will just take a few details", and the caller gets "a private and uncensored call from your chosen girl within a couple of minutes". Two things follow for the operator. Billing is handled by the phone network or by the office, never by her. And card callers are told they can choose a woman, so the company does connect a caller to a particular woman on that route.
The hours are round the clock. The FAQ says "We are open 24/7. Call any time!", and the home page promises access to its women 24/7 along with "24 hour customer service" and "New girls daily". That last line matches the recruitment page's "always looking": the company presents hiring as continuous. The home page also promises callers "No long intros, get straight in to the action", which tells an operator what pace the company sells.
The FAQ gives the company's own account of why it runs these lines. It says it has "huge expertise" in running subscription telephone services, and that "We began to hear stories of what a rip-off some sex lines were and we determined to do better". It says its customers "come back to us again and again after trying the competition". These are the company's claims about itself, addressed to callers. For an operator, the useful part is that repeat callers are what the company says it builds on, and that the business behind the brand is a telephone services company with a customer services line, a contact email and a postal address.
Money and rules
The billing model is premium-rate telephone: callers pay by the minute on their phone bill, and the FAQ says the charge appears on the bill as "Exclusive Promotions", not under the site's name. Card payment through the office is the alternative. As of October 2026 the price printed at the foot of every page is 60p/min plus the caller's phone company access charge, with a note that "Calls from mobiles may be more expensive". The site does not publish what share of that price an operator receives, how often she is paid or by which method.
The rules as written:
- Age 18 to 65, for "girls and women". The FAQ tells callers "All our girls are over 18".
- Callers must be over 18 and have the bill payer's permission to use the service, according to the notice on every page.
- Content: the FAQ's answer to whether there are fantasies the women will not do is "No, they're up for anything and have heard it all before!". That is a promise made to callers, and it is the only statement on the site about what operators are expected to talk about.
- The recruitment page does not state ID, equipment or residency requirements.
To apply, the recruitment page gives a phone number and the vacancies email address. The phone number is the same one the contact page lists for customer services, so an applicant rings the company's main line. The contact page also gives a customer services email and a postal address for Exclusive Promotions at a PO box in Fareham, Hampshire.
Who it suits and who it does not
This suits a woman in the UK, aged 18 to 65, who wants phone work from home without building a profile or an audience of her own. The age band runs to 65, so an older applicant is within the company's stated range. Someone who is comfortable talking on a theme the caller has picked, including fetish and unusual requests passed on by an arranger, fits the way the lines are organized. Because the service runs 24 hours a day, it also suits someone looking for night or daytime calls outside office hours.
It suits less well an operator who needs published numbers before she applies. With the operator's share and the payment method left to the first call, she cannot compare this line with an employer that prints its rates. It is also a weak fit for someone who wants firm content limits, since the FAQ presents the women to callers as taking any request. And the site is UK facing throughout, with UK premium-rate numbers and women described as working from their homes in the UK, so it is not aimed at operators elsewhere.
