What Alua is
Alua is a fan club platform for creators, run by Alua USA Limited according to its terms. Creators apply to open an exclusive fan club, and the homepage says Alua "gives you the freedom to create your own exclusive fan club, connect with fans and earn from the content you create." It pays creators a revenue share of subscriptions, with paid chats, tips and referral earnings on top, as the homepage puts it.
Fans join free, and the review page says creators join free too, with no upfront costs or fees for creating an account; Alua takes its commission only once a creator earns. A creator does need an audience to get in. The FAQ says "anyone with at least 1000 followers can join Alua as a creator." The sign-up screen reads "Apply to be a content creator, make money and interact with your social media fans." The pages are in English, and the site calls itself a place for creators "from a variety of industries," so adult work is one use among several rather than the whole pitch.
How earning works here
The review page names four ways to earn: paid chat, subscriptions, pay-per-view content and the creator referral program, and the homepage adds tips. A creator can use one or all of them. The FAQ describes the creator's share as applying to "earnings made through their content, subscriptions, and tips."
Paid chat is the feature Alua leads with. The review page on the site explains that it lets creators "generate income for every 50 character reply that they send." Fans can send messages to a creator, "but they will have to pay the price set by the creator" to open the conversation. The creator sets the price per message and can change the chat rate at any time. The page presents this as a way to earn without producing new content, and it says creators can talk about whatever they want with fans.
The same page lists the other tools in the product: auto messages that greet new subscribers or chat starters with greetings, promotions or offers; broadcast messages that reach every fan and subscriber at once; private feeds; bonus chats; and pay-per-view content sold inside the chat. Creators can also offer a free chat option to followers as a promotion. It also states plainly that Alua "is not a dating site," and describes itself as a place to connect creators with fans through chat, auto messages, private feeds, bonus chats and paid content. For a reader looking at phone and sext chat as a category, this is the closest the pages come: text chat paid per reply.
Referrals come in two kinds. Fans can enter a creator's invite code when they join, "so we can let them know you have joined the app," and the FAQ recommends fans join under their favorite creator's invite link. For creators referring other creators, the review page read in October 2026 says "Successful referrals earn a 5% commission for a lifetime", at no cost to either party, and that Alua offers lifetime commissions "with no earning cap on referrals".
Alua is built for mobile as well as the web. According to the FAQ, creators can use the Alua app on Google Play and the App Store, while fans use the Android app or the Progressive Web App on iOS. For discovery, the entry requirement of 1000 followers and the sign-up line about "your social media fans" show that Alua expects creators to bring an audience, though the review page also claims internal traffic, with users "ready and waiting to chat". The homepage adds geo-blocking, so a creator can block any countries they choose from seeing the profile, and the review page mentions 24/7 live chat support and a premium creator support team.
On the site's own numbers, the FAQ says Alua is "trusted by over 20,000 content creators and 5,000,000 fans worldwide," and it adds a running total of payouts. These are the site's own claims and should be read that way.
Accounts are personal. The terms say an account must be operated solely by the account holder, who must not give access to "a partner, manager, agency, or family member," and accounts found to be operated by anyone else may be suspended or terminated. A creator who relies on a manager or an agency to answer fans will run into this rule, because paid chat is the main tool and the terms bar a third party from the login.
Money and rules
Alua pays a revenue share and lets creators cash out on a short cycle; the review page lists the payout choices as "PayPal, bank transfers, or cryptocurrency." As of October 2026 the creator share is 80%, stated on the homepage and again in the FAQ answer to "How much does Alua take?" The review page puts the cash-out in these words: "Creators can cash out every two days with a low minimum threshold of $20." The homepage describes this as "Instant payouts" and repeats the same minimum.
The contract between fan and creator says creators receive a percentage of the payments fans make, that creators keep ownership of what they upload, and that by uploading they grant Alua a license to use, display and distribute it. It also says fan payments are final and non-refundable except as the refund policy allows.
The cancellations policy sets the fan-side rules that touch a creator's income. Subscription charges and tips are non-refundable. Credit package sales are final, with exceptions if no replies were received and no credits spent, or if credits were not applied because of a system error. Chargebacks are contested with the bank, and customers who start one "will receive a permanent ban from the Alua service."
On content, the removal policy says Alua does not allow illegal content, non-consensual content, or content "uploaded or shared without valid authorization." Complaints may come from users, rights holders or a person depicted in content, and the policy says all complaints are reviewed and resolved within a maximum of 5 business days. The terms add that violating content is removed and the responsible user faces suspension or termination. For age checks, the FAQ names AppBouncer as its age-verification partner and says some users in certain regions may be required to use it.
Who it suits and who it does not
Alua suits a creator who already has a following of at least 1000 and likes talking to fans one by one. Paid chat rewards that habit directly, and the page states a low minimum with a cash-out every two days. A creator who prefers PayPal or crypto to a bank wire will see all three options named.
The FAQ applies the creator share to content, subscriptions and tips, so it is not limited to subscriptions. It is a poor fit for someone with no audience, because the threshold blocks entry, and for anyone who runs the account through a team, because the terms ban shared access.
One more caveat is the chat model itself. Income depends on fans paying to open conversations and on replies of a set length, so a creator who dislikes long text exchanges will get less from the headline feature, and the product is built on text chat and posts rather than live streaming or calls.
