What myfans is

myfans is a Japanese-language adult fan club service where creators sell video access by monthly subscription or as single purchases, and it pays creators from those sales. The Japanese magazine site onamagazine.jp says it was launched in 2021 by Tokuneko Inc. and that creators can make adult videos and sell them at prices they set themselves. Fans who buy get access to limited content and can message the creator directly.

Japanese outlets name the operating company differently: onamagazine.jp says Tokuneko Inc. launched the service, while the blog tonoel.pw says the service is run by Connect Co., Ltd. Most of the Japanese outlets quoted below are affiliate-style blogs that recommend platforms, so their praise is a promoter's view, and each fact is credited to the outlet that reported it. Adultlabo.com calls myfans the most mainstream adult fan club service aimed at Japanese users.

Who it is for is stated plainly by FansChart, an independent directory, in a page ranking platforms in Japan: myfans is Japanese-language only, and creators outside Japan will find it hard to use. This is a platform for Japanese creators selling to Japanese fans.

How earning works on myfans

The model is a monthly fan club. Tonoel.pw says creators set a monthly plan and upload fan-club-only content, including adult videos, and that free plans and paid plans can be set freely. It adds that single-product sales are also possible, so a fan can buy one video without subscribing, which the blog says makes plans easy for fans to choose. Onamagazine.jp similarly says sales are mostly monthly, with single purchases as an option on some sites, and that pricing and structure differ by platform. It describes myfans as a service where purchasing fans can reach limited content and talk to the creator through DMs, and says the site is safe and easy to operate for newcomers.

On who uses it, tonoel.pw says the service was not built for adult content but is tolerant of it, and that many AV actresses, general creators and "alt account" users (裏垢, anonymous side accounts) use it as a new income source. Adultlabo.com, a blog run by a consultant who works on independent adult video and fan club operation, recommends myfans first for domestic adult content and says it is the obvious pick for independent adult video shooters and anonymous-account male creators. Its author says the platform has some weaknesses in usability but is improving day by day.

How buyers find creators is mostly described from outside the platform. Onamagazine.jp lists popular creator accounts with their plan tables, and the funnel advice comes from the blogs. The blog totowel.net, which promotes adult side income, suggests uploading free sample videos to YouTube, Twitter and Pornhub and pointing viewers to the fan club page in the video description, then releasing the full version only inside the club. That is a blog's marketing suggestion, not a platform feature.

Semrush data dated August 15, 2026 puts myfans.jp at a worldwide rank of 2,211 and a Japan rank of 200, with 22.55M visits. That is a traffic estimate from a third party and says nothing about what a given creator will earn.

Money and rules

Fees. The model is a commission on sales, and the rate depends on the creator's tier. In October 2026 totowel.net, tonoel.pw and adultlabo.com all give the commission as 17.5%, with the creator receiving the remaining profit. FansChart says that headline rate is the one for Premium creators and that the scale runs up to 20% for Semi-Premium and 22% for Standard creators. One comparison blog, nomajp.com, lists a lower rate and credits myfans with fast transfers. A creator should confirm which tier applies to their own account.

Payouts. Adultlabo.com gives bank transfer as the way earnings are received, and FansChart notes that Fantia, Myfans and CandFans default to payouts into a real-name Japanese bank account. Tonoel.pw says withdrawal registration is simple, that payouts are basically made twice a month, and that an express withdrawal feature can transfer money on the earliest business day. FansChart adds two cautions, read in October 2026: Standard creators have payouts delayed to the 25th of the second following month, and a small per-transfer fee of around 330 yen applies.

Registration and ID. Tonoel.pw says a creator can register with only a face photo and an ID document, without strict screening. Totowel.net contrasts this with OnlyFans, saying OnlyFans requires passport verification and registration of every co-performing model, while myfans needs only one driver's license for the representative. Adultlabo.com says using a fan club requires being 18 or over, and that some services require identity verification.

Japanese legal rules. FansChart says adult content on Japanese platforms such as Fantia, Myfans and CandFans must be mosaic-censored to comply with Japanese law, and that adult creators typically must file Japan's video-transmission adult-entertainment business notification before distributing. Tonoel.pw and adultlabo.com say myfans handles that filing itself. Tonoel.pw says no notification is needed for creators and calls it the only domestic platform usable without filing, while adultlabo.com says the operating company has made the filing, which it calls a reassurance. These are blog statements, and FansChart reads the rule more strictly: it says adult creators on Myfans must hold and evidence Japan's adult-entertainment business registration. A creator should check the platform's current terms on this point before uploading.

Who it suits and who it does not

myfans suits Japanese-speaking creators who want to sell videos to Japanese fans without a heavy approval process. Tonoel.pw's points are low barriers to registering and cashing out, express withdrawal, and no filing for creators. Adultlabo.com names independent adult video shooters and anonymous-account male creators as the obvious users. Those who shoot with co-performers have a particular reason to prefer it over OnlyFans, because totowel.net says myfans needs only the representative's ID rather than a record for each co-performer.

It is a poor fit for creators outside Japan. FansChart says the platform is Japanese-language only and that payouts default to a real-name Japanese bank account, which for an overseas creator is a practical barrier. FansChart says adult video must be mosaic-censored, so uncensored footage cannot be posted as it is.

Two more caveats apply. The blogs quote a single commission figure while FansChart describes a tiered scale with a slower payout for the lowest tier, so the rate and payout date for a new account are worth checking before signing up. The blogs and FansChart also disagree on whether the creator has to hold the business notification, which matters to anyone planning to sell adult video. The traffic and ranking facts above describe the site, not a typical creator's income.
