What Sex.com is
Sex.com is an adult content website where registered and unregistered visitors watch adult content and where approved Content Partners, Verified Uploaders, Models and Creators upload their own. It pays creators and models a commission share through a subscription model on locked content. The terms covering its Wonder and Wellness section say the site "is operated by Nektun Limited, with registered offices located at Prodromou 75, Oneworld Parkview House, 2063, Nicosia, Cyprus", and that they are governed by the laws of Cyprus. The site is in English. Uploading is gated: a would-be model joins a Model Partner Program, a Content Partner joins the Content Partner Program, and either can be refused "for any reason". The terms set out who may upload, how identity is checked, what a creator is paid and how, and what gets an account closed with its earnings forfeited, which is the core of what an earner needs to know before applying.
How earning works
The terms describe several uploader roles. "Content Partners" are users "who have joined our Content Partner Program". Models join the Model Partner Program. "Creators" are "Users of this Website who have a validly identified account", and as a creator "you may submit Content to this Website." The definitions also describe a performer or model as an adult "who provides shows, chats or interacts with Members and Guests of the site", so live interaction with paying members is part of how the site frames the model role. Members, customers or subscribers are visitors who sign up to the site's services, and guests are visitors who do not register.
The pay model is subscription access to locked content: a creator's paid material sits behind a lock, members subscribe to reach it, and the creator or model receives a share of the commission on those subscriptions. As read in October 2026, the commission clause says: "Content Creator and/or Model will be entitled to receive eighty (80) % of commission from the subscriptions on lock content on this Website." The terms say the site keeps that share whole by absorbing payment costs: it "will cover for the processing fees, which included the cost of processing payments, meaning recurring billing, recovering declined payments and fighting fraud."
Joining starts with an application. "If you want to become a Model and post Content through this Website, you must first join our Model Partner Program and agree to its terms and conditions", and Content Partners join their own program the same way. The site "may, in our sole discretion, decline your application to join our community of Content providers for any reason." An applicant gives a valid email for verification and picks a screen name that is unique, inoffensive and clear of anyone else's copyright or trademark. Some account details, such as name and screen name, can only be changed by the site's staff.
Content choice is broad within the law: a creator is "free to choose the type of Content you produce and post or publish", though "This Website is for adult-oriented Content" and other categories may be rejected or deleted. Uploads must not duplicate content already on the site, and the uploader warrants that the content "may be used for training purposes."
Ownership and licensing are spelled out. A creator keeps "all ownership rights in your Content", but grants the site's operators "an unlimited, worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license" to use it for promoting and redistributing the site. Other users get access only as the terms allow and "cannot download or save the Content you post." Video licenses end within a commercially reasonable time after removal, though the site may keep server copies. If the site suspects a rights problem, the creator must show written proof of ownership "within five (5) working days" or risk termination.
Accounts are personal. The password must stay secret, the holder answers for all activity on the account, and the terms make the holder liable for losses the site suffers from unauthorized use. The site may remove content at any time, revoke linking permission without notice, and disable social media features and links.
Sex.com's Wonder and Wellness section also publishes editorial pages, including product reviews and ranked lists of creators on another platform. Those are articles, not part of the partner programs, and they carry no pay terms for Sex.com creators.
Money and rules
The creator's share is a fixed percentage of commission on locked-content subscriptions, with processing costs covered by the site. Payouts go "to your designated payout method, which can be a bank account or Paxum." Payout fees are charged by the banks and peer-to-peer providers when a payout is requested, and the terms say "our payout fees are calculated on a one-to-one basis with no additional markup", adding that P2P transfers "typically entail the lowest payout transaction fees, while bank transfers tend to involve higher payout transaction fees." If a creator gives wrong payment details, any resulting chargeback fees are offset against what they are owed. The terms do not give a minimum payout or a payout schedule.
Identity checks come before the first upload. A creator submits "high-res images or scans of a minimum of one to two information documents, containing your date of birth, expiration date of the ID, your photo, your full legal name and your address", such as a passport, national ID card, state ID or driver's license, with a utility bill as a possible second document. "Facial verification and an assessment of the authenticity of the aforementioned documents is also required." For everyone in a video, the uploader must hold consent and a release, must have checked a valid government photo ID, and must keep the records required under 18 U.S.C. 2257. Content Partners also affirm that no one shown has convictions for sexual assault, trafficking or related crimes.
The prohibited list includes non-consensual sexual activity, revenge porn, blackmail, intimidation, snuff, torture, violence, racial slurs and hate speech, and any content depicting someone below the age of majority. The penalties are steep: a breach can mean the site will "forfeit all accrued or pending earnings, cancel all current or pending payouts, terminate your account", and content that breaks criminal law means a ban "with all earnings and payouts forfeited". Tax registration, declaration and payment, including VAT, are the creator's own duty.
Who it suits and who it does not
Sex.com suits an adult creator or model who wants a stated commission share on subscription content with processing costs absorbed by the site, and who is paid through Paxum or a bank. The terms' note that P2P payouts usually cost less than bank transfers matters to a creator who already uses Paxum. A creator who films with others needs releases, ID checks and 2257 records for every performer before uploading.
The caveats are in the fine print. Applications can be refused without a reason, the site can end an account "at any time for any reason even without cause", and a breach can wipe out pending earnings. The license a creator grants is perpetual and broad, and uploads may be used for training. A creator who needs a known payout minimum or schedule will have to ask before applying.
