What Monroe is

Monroe is a webcam model studio in Medellín, Colombia, run from the domain monro3.com. It recruits and trains models who stream live shows, and it lists on-time, transparent pay under clear agreements among the benefits of joining. Joining starts with an application form on the home page, headed "Únete a las Monroe" (join the Monroes), under the line that the applicant is one step from being part of the studio. The site does not publish its revenue share or a joining fee. The copy is written in Spanish and addressed to women, and it assumes a reader who is considering webcam work in Colombia.

The home page sets the tone before any detail. It welcomes the applicant to "un espacio de creación" (a space for creation) where, in the studio's words, the performers step away from real life to connect with a sensual alter ego and prepare to shine in each show as the leading actresses they are. The footer repeats the idea in the studio's slogan, "el lugar donde eres protagonista de tu propia historia" (the place where you are the lead in your own story).

How earning works here

Monroe is a studio, so the earner is a streaming model and the studio supplies the setting around her. The home page invites applicants to get to know its spaces, which it says were created for the model's comfort, and it highlights two benefits: "Formación personal & profesional" (personal and professional training) and "Gran variedad de espacios para streaming" (a wide variety of streaming spaces). The site's menu gives the benefits and the facilities a section each, next to a blog and a contact section. The home page also promotes "Mundo Monroe", which it describes as photos from exclusive sets, and it shows the studio's Instagram account with the location Medellín, Colombia.

The earning routes come from an article on the studio's own blog about what it calls the Monroe platform. It says models can earn through virtual gifts, subscriptions and exclusive content, and it presents these as additional income options that let a model diversify her sources of earnings and raise her total. The same article says there are interactive tools between models and viewers, "Desde chats en tiempo real hasta opciones de regalos virtuales" (from real-time chats to virtual gift options), and that these help build a more personal and direct connection with the audience, which it links to follower loyalty. It says live streams run in high quality video and audio, and it argues that picture and sound quality are what hold an audience's attention. The article describes all of this as a technology advantage, in the studio's own words, and it calls the pay model competitive with several monetization options. The site does not name the outside cam sites its shows are broadcast on.

Training is the part of the offer the pages describe most. The platform article says Monroe runs courses and workshops covering streaming technique, personal marketing and time management. It says the courses are available online and open to every model registered with Monroe. A team of experts is described as giving personalized advice, which the article says can include guidance on getting more out of live sessions, strategies to grow a follower base, and advice on balancing professional and personal life. The article ties this ongoing support to two outcomes, better skills and higher income.

A second article, on the requirements for becoming a webcam model, lists what the studio calls its benefits:

  • Personalized training in strategies to maximize income.
  • A safe environment, with private and protected facilities.
  • Advice on personal branding, to help a model build a professional and attractive image.
  • On-time and transparent payments, described as financial security with clear agreements.

That same article contrasts the studio with working alone. It says that unlike working independently, "unirse a un estudio como Monroe te brinda apoyo en cada paso del proceso" (joining a studio like Monroe gives you support at every step of the process), from managing platforms to optimizing schedules. Read plainly, the service on offer is coaching, platform management, scheduling help and a place to stream, in exchange for working under the studio's agreement.

The article also gives practical advice to anyone starting out. It suggests taking care of image and online presence, defining a niche and a style of interaction, using loyalty strategies with followers, setting regular streaming hours, and avoiding sharing personal information in order to protect privacy. Those are tips from the studio's blog and not a rulebook.

The only earning role the site describes is that of a streaming model. Affiliates, referrers and clip sellers are not part of its offer.

Money and rules

The payment model is a studio agreement. The requirements article promises "Pagos puntuales y transparentes" (on-time, transparent payments) and speaks of financial security with clear agreements, and the platform article speaks of a competitive pay model. The site does not publish the percentage, the payout schedule or the payout method behind those words, so the terms a model works under are the ones in the agreement the studio offers her.

On age and identity, the requirements article states that a webcam model must meet the legal age set in her country, which it says means being over 18 in most cases, and must hold current identity documents. It says this is needed to register on secure platforms and to avoid legal problems.

The same article sets out what the work requires in practice: a private space with good lighting and attractive decoration, a high definition camera for a professional image, a quality microphone for clear communication, and a stable, fast internet connection to avoid interruptions. It adds the skills it expects a model to develop: charisma and confidence on camera, the ability to start and hold engaging conversations, knowledge of personal marketing and social media, and what it calls skills of seduction and entertainment. Its own wording is "No se trata solo de encender la cámara" (it is not just a matter of turning on the camera).

On privacy, the platform article says the security and privacy of models are fundamental priorities, and that Monroe keeps clear and transparent privacy policies that tell models how their data is handled and protected. It adds that Monroe offers educational resources to help models understand those policies and protect their own privacy online. The site's footer links a privacy policy and terms and conditions.

For questions about the registration process the site gives a phone number and an email address under the heading "¿Tienes dudas sobre el proceso de inscripción?" (do you have doubts about the registration process?). The requirements article is dated 12 February 2025, and both articles are signed by the same author. Everything in them is the studio's marketing description, written to attract applicants, and none of it is a contract.

Who it suits and who it does not

Monroe fits a woman in or near Medellín who is new to webcam work and wants a studio to supply the setting, the training and the schedule discipline instead of building everything alone. The requirements article puts the weight on charisma, conversation and a will to develop skills, and its benefits list starts with training.

It also suits someone who values privacy language and structured support. The studio presents clear privacy policies and a protected environment as priorities, and its blog advises models to avoid sharing personal information. A model who wants a studio that talks openly about personal branding, follower growth and skills coaching will recognize that offer here.

It is a weaker fit for anyone who needs to compare numbers before applying. The site argues its case in general terms such as competitive pay and clear agreements, so a model can only judge the deal once she has the studio's agreement in front of her. It is also a weaker fit for someone who wants to work from another country. What the site presents is a studio in Medellín with its own streaming spaces, and its application form is the only way in.

A model who already has an audience and her own accounts on cam sites may find little here, since the offer is training, management and studio space, and the site presents itself as a place to work and learn. Someone looking for a fan platform, a marketplace or an affiliate program is looking for a different kind of business. The caveat for everyone else is the one above: the studio's promise of on-time, transparent payments is a promise about how it pays, and the share itself is set in the agreement.
