What Charm Studio is

Charm Studio is a Romanian videochat studio that recruits women to work as webcam models, either in its studios or from home under its guidance. It says it was created in 2012 and redefined in 2019, and it describes itself as the number 1 studio in Romania and top 3 worldwide, both its own claims. Its motto is "We Create Top Models". It pays models a commission on what they earn on the cam sites, counted in two-week periods, under what it calls a fully legal contract. Joining is by an interview, online or at one of its locations, and the site is in Romanian.

The site describes large studios in central Bucharest locations at Piata Unirii, Piata Victoriei and Piata Universitatii, and adds a studio in the UK. Another passage on the home page counts studios outside Romania in both the UK and Spain. Its footer sorts the locations by the kind of site worked there: one is marked "Locatie exclusiv LiveJasmin" (a LiveJasmin-only location), and others are marked as multi-site, premium or freemium and premium.

How earning works here

The work is live videochat on cam sites. LiveJasmin is the platform the site names, and the studio shows its models' LiveJasmin earnings as its proof. Charm sets videochat apart from a fan-subscription site such as OnlyFans in three ways, all in its own FAQ. A videochat model earns from the first day she goes online, where on OnlyFans she first has to build a base of admirers. In videochat the studio handles promotion, where on OnlyFans a model has to promote herself. And a videochat model can block access for viewers from Romania, which it says OnlyFans does not allow.

There are two ways to work with it as a model, and a third way to earn without modeling.

In the studio. A new hire gets a trainer from the first day, "o fata de la training, cu multa experienta" (a woman from the training team with a lot of experience), who teaches how to raise earnings quickly. The studio describes a structure borrowed from corporate life in which each team has a defined role. Trainers pass on what works. HR and accounting handle the legal side, so that payments are processed without delays and taxes are kept up to date. A marketing team follows social media and the streaming platforms. A photo and video department shoots in the studio's own photo studio and on location, and there is a makeup area. The collaboration page adds a certified image consultant and technical support, and says serious models with experience and results get intense, controlled promotion to raise their earnings. The team is described as made up only of women.

The studio claims its team has made it a LiveJasmin 5-star studio, and says it has won more than 50 trophies at international competitions for videochat studios, including prizes for its training program and its marketing campaign.

From home. The home-work page is written for an experienced model who already works from home and wants to raise her earnings while keeping the benefits of working from home, in whatever city she lives. Charm sets up her accounts, software and computer, gives advice on her image and provides training. If she wants, the team handles her promotion on dedicated platforms, and she can book photo sessions at one of its studios. The model needs a computer or laptop and a webcam, with the decor of the room counting as a plus, and the studio offers help choosing equipment. It asks for seriousness, perseverance and involvement. The studio argues that studio models earn several times more than home models, because organized work and trainers on site around the clock encourage performance. That is its own comparison.

As a recruiter. The home page invites readers to become an "agent recrutor" (recruiter agent). The pitch is earning from videochat without doing videochat: the agent recommends models, receives a share of what they earn, and gets real-time access to the recommended model's earnings and to her own.

The collaboration page describes the first contact. Collaboration starts with a phone call or the online form, and the studio says it explains the working schedule, the payment terms and everything else openly at the first visit. It says its experience since 2012 has helped remove many prejudices about this job on the Romanian videochat market. The employment page speaks to the fear of "ce o sa zica lumea" (what people will say) and says the studio's own models went through the same worry.

The site is also frank about who should stay away. Its FAQ lists reasons not to do videochat: thinking the job is very easy, wanting to work 4 hours a day, not being willing to take advice, knowing no English and not wanting to learn, and believing that being beautiful is enough.

Money and rules

The pay model is a commission on the model's earnings, paid per "perioada", which the site defines as once every two weeks. In October 2026 the benefits list on the home page reads "Comision 75% din incasarile tale" (75% commission on your earnings), and the banner above it shows a range of 75-85%. The same list includes "2.000 € garantat in primele 6 luni" (2,000 euros guaranteed in the first 6 months), interest-free credit for a home and for cosmetic procedures, quarterly and periodic bonuses, support and training for the whole collaboration, English courses and a legal contract. The site does not name the payout method.

For a model working from home the rate is separate. As of October 2026 the home-work page says "Comisionul modelului este intre 70 si 90%, in functie de incasarile acesteia" (the model's commission is between 70 and 90%, depending on her earnings). For the recruiter program the home page states, also in October 2026, that the agent receives 10% of the takings of the models she recommends.

Tax and contract are addressed on the collaboration page. The studio recommends that a model set up her own small company, a microenterprise, and offers to help, saying that in October 2026 this means paying the state only 1% of total income. It adds that under the contract the employee's contributions to social insurance and special funds are withheld as the law requires.

Earnings figures fill the site, all the studio's own and all counted per period. The one most useful to a newcomer is on the earnings page, which in October 2026 says its models earn on average between $1,000 and $3,000 in their first period at the studio, with results after that growing in step with perseverance and involvement. The much larger figures on the home page describe the studio's top models and its awards. The studio itself adds that significant earnings "nu pot aparea peste noapte" (cannot appear overnight) and depend on the effort each model puts in.

Hiring criteria are listed on the employment page: age between 18 and 35, a pleasant appearance, knowledge of English, communication skills, a wish to develop, and seriousness and involvement. English level is described as an important factor but not a disqualifier, because the studio offers free English courses. To start from home a model sends a clear photo of her identity card or passport, a photo of herself holding the document and a photo of her face, with every detail on the document legible, and the form asks for her age and her English level.

Who it suits and who it does not

It suits a woman who lives within reach of one of the studio's locations, has never done videochat and wants a studio to supply a trainer, makeup, photo shoots, marketing and equipment. The guaranteed amount in the first months and the free English courses are aimed at exactly that beginner, and the two-week pay period suits someone who cannot wait a month.

It also suits a model already working from home who wants account setup, training and promotion from a studio while keeping the higher end of the commission range, since Charm offers that path in any city. And it offers something to a person who does not want to model at all, through the recruiter program.

It suits a model who wants LiveJasmin as her main site. The studio's proof, its awards and one of its locations are built around that platform, so a model who wants to build her own fan base on a subscription site, or to sell clips, is outside what Charm does.

The caveats are plain. The studio says openly that it is not for someone who wants short hours or an easy job. The commission for studio models appears as one number in the benefits list and as a range in the banner, and the home rate depends on earnings, so the rate that applies to a given model is the one written into her contract. The upper age limit and the appearance criterion are stated, and they narrow who is hired.
