What it is
StudioGroup, written on its site as StudioGroup Constanta, is a videochat studio in Constanța, Romania, that recruits women as cam models. The home page opens with "Noi suntem StudioGroup Constanta - studio videochat Constanta" (it presents itself as StudioGroup Constanta, a videochat studio in Constanța) and says the studio has been in videochat in the city since 2003. It pays a commission on what each model takes in on the cam sites, trains beginners free of charge, and backs the first period with a guaranteed monthly salary. The site is in Romanian and written for women in Constanța and the wider region. The contact block gives an address on Bld. Mamaia in the Tomis area, and recruitment runs by phone or WhatsApp followed by an interview.
The studio's case for itself is the working environment. Its rooms are in central, easy-to-reach locations, and the home page says each model gets a separate, spacious room with its own bathroom and air conditioning, a personal locker, modern technical equipment and technical support at all hours. It adds that staff are employed to clean the rooms. The tone is promotional and many pages repeat the same lines, so the concrete terms are gathered below.
How earning works
The FAQ describes the job in plain terms. Videochat is conversation with people from around the world on profile sites, through a computer and a camera. Those conversations lead to a private session between the model and a paying member. The FAQ states that private sessions can involve nudity and possibly an erotic show, and in the same answer that nobody can force a model to do anything against her will, neither the studio nor the member. Every site has its own rules of behavior that a model must respect while she is online. The cam sites themselves are not named on the site.
Pay is a share of takings that rises in steps. The home page prints the ladder under "Comisioanele tale" (your commissions): the more a model takes in during a session period, the higher her percentage, and the lower steps carry a minimum number of hours online in that period. The top steps apply whatever the hours. The studio couples this with two lines printed in capitals on the same page: "Fara amenzi si penalizari!" (no fines and penalties) and "Fara clauze ascunse in contract!" (no hidden clauses in the contract).
Beginners are the target. A recruit needs enthusiasm, intermediate English, basic PC skills and seriousness, and experience is not required: the studio gives free training, explains the sites the model will work on before she starts, and supports her throughout. An article about beginner pay says the usual path is an interview followed by 3 months of training. The studio page lists a personal trainer, a makeup artist and English courses, and the home page adds professional photo sessions paid for by the studio, with accessories and lingerie supplied and makeup and hair done by professionals.
Shifts are organized. The FAQ says the schedule runs in shifts and is flexible, and that the studio uses a shift-planning app in which a model books in advance the location, the room and the time slot she wants. That is the answer it gives to students and to women with another commitment. It also says girls have been hired from Constanța and from other towns in Romania, with Tulcea and Craiova as examples, so living in Constanța is not a condition. For newcomers who commute, the studio reimburses transport for 3 months from the start of work.
Privacy is handled through the cam sites. The studio page says the sites it works with let it block the countries from which a model wants no visitors, which removes the risk of being seen by family, friends or acquaintances, and that private sessions are confidential.
There is a non-adult route as well. That page says nudity is forbidden in this type of videochat and that the quality of the conversation is what counts. The art of conversation is its theme, and it recommends reading and learning a foreign language as ways to get better at it. It prints its own shorter commission ladder, with the same starting share and a lower top step than the adult page.
The studio argues against working from home. Its comparison article grants that a home model sets her own hours and shares her money with nobody, then lists what she gives up: guidance from a team, technical and logistical support, a set, privacy from the people she lives with, professional makeup and hair styling, and the contract. It says home work is not done on a contract and means registering as self-employed.
Models can also earn from a recommendation. The home page offers a bonus to a model who recommends a friend, paid once the friend is hired at the studio.
Money and rules
The durable terms: pay is a tiered commission on takings under a contract, the minimum age is 18, and a valid identity document is required. The FAQ repeats both conditions and adds that applicants must be female.
In October 2026 the home page sets the commission at 50% for a model who takes in less than 1.000$ in a session period, rising step by step to 80% at the very top of the ladder. The lower steps require at least 80 hours in the period.
The starting package read on the home page in October 2026 is a guaranteed salary of 6.000 RON a month for each new model, and a hiring bonus of 600€. An older article on the site, about what a beginner is paid, gives different amounts for both, so the home page is the version to hold the studio to. These are the studio's advertised terms for newcomers, and the home page does not print how many months the guaranteed salary lasts.
The recommendation bonus, as the same page had it in October 2026, is 1.000€ for a friend who is hired.
The comparison article mentions daily payment ("plata zilnica") as something a studio model has and a home model gives up. No payout method is printed, and the article tells readers that payment, commission and training are explained at the interview.
Who it suits
StudioGroup suits a beginner in or near Constanța who wants a defined starting floor, someone to explain the sites, and shifts she can book through an app around classes or other work. The printed commission ladder is a real advantage for comparing studios, since a model can see in advance what share each level of takings brings and how many hours the lower steps expect. A woman who prefers conversation to explicit shows has a separate non-adult route with its own ladder. Someone from another town gets help with transport in the first months.
It suits less well a model who wants to work from home, since the whole argument of the site is the studio room, or a part-timer who cannot reach the hours floor attached to the lower commission steps. Men and couples are outside the stated conditions. The long texts are repetitive and the older articles quote starting amounts that no longer match the home page, so a recruit should have the guarantee, the bonus and the commission step written into her contract.
